I found that this product smelled amazing but being in a purse it got moldy. I tried it again and found that the emptier it got it was harder to apply.
Man, when these originally came out, there was so much hype. They were cute and effective. But they leave your lips drier than dry, which is not the intended purpose. If you're spending money on a lip balm, it needs to moisturize.
Honestly do not know what the hype is about. I used EOS, because everyone was raving about it. However, it made my lips event drier than before, cracked them, and I honestly feel like I got a chemical burn. My lips developed tiny bumps everywhere. This has never happened before. I would not suggest it.
So this seems to be one of those "cool" products that actually make no sense at all. Lol while it's cute it's extremely hard to apply and even carry with you. It's like keeping a golf ball that you put on your lips in your pocket. I only would consider buying this if you have a desperate need to be hip. For the price and quality I would not purchase again.
I. Just. Dont. Get. It.
Eos, Eos. Eos. They were 'the brand' of lip balm that beauty bloggers couldn't stop talking about for years and years! I hadn't purchased one myself (I literally will never be out of lip balm until the end of the world.) but a friend got me a duo hand lotion and lip balm as a gift recently so I decided to give it a try.
Big mistake.
There is something in the formula that doesn't actually HYDRATE or MOISTURIZE lips, instead it blocks moisture and hydration, leaving your lips even more dried out only mere hours later. I tried to find a way for this lip balm to be worth it, as I hate wasting product, and the only time I find myself using it is before bed. My room is quite dry and it shields my lips from drying out further in the night-time, but honestly I should just chuck it in the bin because I never take it anywhere with me. Ever. AVOID!
(Their hand lotion was good though, go figure.)
So I bought this because I thought it was cute. I mean, it is super cute. A cute little egg you can toss in your purse.
And then I tried it and realised I had to keep on re-applying it...almost every hour. I mean the first two time you re-apply it, it's cute. The next ten times people start staring.
Not cute, however very aerodynamic as I tossed it across a room into the garbage and got it in on my first attempt.
I was really excited about trying these- mainly because of the cute packaging. I was very disappointed about the quality of the lip balm. It does an okay job at keeping your lips moisturized, that too only after a fresh application. I would not recommend if you are looking for a good, long-lasting moisturizer for your lips. By far one of the most expensive and least effective products I have seen.
I find this brand of lip Balm just does not do it for me. I find it does nothing for dry or sun burnt lips. If I use it to prevent my lips from drying out, it must be continuously applied.
It does not really work. My lips do feel moisturized at application, but this feeling quickly disappears. I feel like my lips feel drier after using this. Probably will not purchase again.
I have tried three of these lip balms and didn't like a single one. All of them were incredibly drying and I think they actually caused my lips to chap. The scents were not nice and I found the product itself to just leave a waxy layer on my lips. The only plus side of these balms are that the containers are easy to open, especially if you have just put hand cream on and then realised you needed to put a balm on. For the price, I would not buy these again.
