Large Screen and Easy to Use

The printer is a workhorse.

It has replaced my in-laws 1990's old school printer, and isn't too difficult to follow for them (they are 66 and 78).

It works based on touch-screen commands or through your computer/laptop (once the printer is connected to your network), and has a quick energy efficient shut off once printing has completed.

It also prompts you on the printer itself (or computer) when updates are available.

You can put a whole package of printer paper in the two separate trays, choose which tray to print from, use different sizes of paper with the paper tray slides, check printer properties & settings, print double sided (sooooo quick!), and was simple to connect to my Wifi. It can print up to 24 pages a minute on normal settings, and my mother in law is finally scanning in ALL of the paperwork she has in her home office.

They really appreciate the large screen, so they are able to read the commands without squinting.

It also copies just as quickly as it prints, so we have a lot more pictures of the grandkids since they discovered this functionality.

Although it doesn't guzzle ink, it is rather new, so there aren't any non-standard Epson replacement ink cartridges yet, so hopefully they will come up with a more economical ink replacement option in the near future.

The scanner functionality is just as simple as the printing set up - making life a lot less hectic and easier to scan in normal household and business documents.

They won't use the fax setting, so have no idea how its functionality is.

Overall,They like it and haven't had a huge learning curve with it.
