worst stuff ive ever used... a eye liner from the dollar store would probably be better.. i put it on and it just runs.,, terrible

I love essence but this eyeliner ran out pretty quickly. the great thing is that it is only 1.99

I have the thin waterproof black one. It is the best eyeliner I've tried. I have thick black eyebrow hairs too, so sometimes I use it to lightly fill in the spots where the hairs have curled away. Extremely waterproof after about the first five minutes (needs a minute or two to stay so don't put it on and run out directly out the door into rain).

The pen style of this eyeliner makes it so easy to apply. I've struggled with applying other liquid eyeliners before, but this is super easy. It stays on, doesn't irritate, and gives a nice finish with consistent color. Such a great product, and the price just makes it all the more amazing.

Love, love, love this product. I use this everyday. You can go easy with a subtle line or build up to a dramatic cat eye with this. It stays strong all day and comes off in a cinch with a baby wipe. The price is like they're practically giving it away .Can't go wrong with this eyeliner. Well unless your kids gets into it and wants to make themselves into a tiger. And then the only thing wrong with that is you're worried they might have used it up ;) :) True story.

So, when the eyeliner pens first came out, I was excited to try it. My sister raced me to it and bought one before I had the chance. We were not happy. It seemed to not work properly. It barely showed up and broke very easily. Not impressed, I wrote Essence an email and stated how I felt and discouraged I was because Essence is usually the only make up I will buy. I took a break from buying Essence, I call it a tempprary breakup because I was sad that they had let me down, I felt like it was the end for Essence and I's relationship. However, I am known for going back in relationships with the same up, if that makes sense. So it suprise nobody that I hang with that I went back to the Essence Makeup section and grabbed yet another eye pen. Thus one was more like a "eye pencil" (That's what it says on it). It's a waterproof gel one. I was much more pleased with the results. I am now loving my relationship with Essence once again.

This review is for the waterproof eyeliner that comes in a short black tube with a blue cap. It is by far the most waterproof and smudge-proof eyeliner I have tried. Prior to discovering this one, I spent $30 every month on Stila's waterproof eyeliner, which is a wonderful product but way too expensive for how much (or little) product you get. I did a smudge test using these two eyeliners and guess what, Essence outperformed Stila. The best news? It's only $3.99 and each tube lasts 3 months.
It is a bit tricky to apply, especially between the lashes because the brush is pretty thick. So I just dab a little bit on an eyeliner brush and apply it like that.
It stays on all day without smudging or flaking. Surprisingly, it comes off pretty easily using make-up remover wipes.

I purchased this eyeliner pen couple months ago.I have to admit I underestimated this product.I have tried other Essence products in past as well,I am impressed with all the products from Essence.Loved this eyeliner pen.So easy to apply.The tip is very precise and easy to use.It dries up quickly.You can't beat the price factor,its way cheaper then other eyeliners and works amazingly well.

This eyeliner pencil in o4 blonde is a really easy pencil to use ...with the brush in the cap, it's as easy as 123 and it stays all day even when I sweat at work! Love it

Goes on smooth, lasts all day. For the price it is an excellent product. Perfect price point for teens.
