very good brow kit

The essence brow kit is really good, i like it and its not too heavy when applying on your brow. i like the color when i applied it, you can choose either light or darker brow, and the brush is very helpful to line the brow. ill buy this product again.

LOVE IT!

I bought this brow palette solely for the price, it was under $6 for an entire brow kit with multiple shades for almost any hair color. It does come in darker shades as well which I love! Not many brands have this range of shades for different hair colors. I love this palette, highly recommend. Blends well, shades blend together well. Use multiple shades or just one. Love the highlight. I don't recommend using the brush it comes with, it's very cheap plastic which doesn't give a very precise application. Only con is it does have a lot of fall out, but the palette does have a lot of product and it has lasted for over 6 months and I've used it almost daily.

Great product, great price! PERFECT for brow beginners!

Key Points about Essense How to Make a Brow kit:

Very dry powder – there’s a bit of fall out
The brush/applicator duo is CRAP – don’t use it.
Play around with it before attacking your look – the shades can apply really dark. Start slow and then build up.
The highlight looks like it has a small satin shimmer to it. It does not – its very chalky.
The tweezers are great!
The instructions could be a bit more detailed
In a starter kit like this I would also like to see something that measures angles
Great for everyday use – not for hard lines/dramatic brows.
Not for creating details depth – not for people with VERY light brows or no brows.


This is a great starter kit for anyone interested in learning about doing your eyebrows. It provides everything you need in order to create and carve out a brow.

If you have VERY light brows, or no brows at all, this may not be the product that you are looking for. You are unable to create a defined line/brow illusion with this product. You can only create depth to pre-existing brows.

The brush/applicator duo that comes with this palette is great for a quick fix – but horrible for laying down product. Does not hold the pigment well and will create fall out. Use a small, angled detailing brush for application, that is soft and more malleable.

The highlighter colour is very chalky. Does not provide as much highlight as I would have liked. BUT it is a nice transition shade for eyeshadow – so that’s a plus.

The tweezers are the best part of this kit. Small and compact, you can really get in there and get those pesky hairs!

This is an awesome brow kit specially for the price couldn't beat that! Its lasted me a while and it goes on great. Comes with tweezers too which is a bonus!

The "How to Make Brows WOW" kit from essence is *such* a steal--paid $10 for it at SDM. It contains 3 brow filling powders in "love blondes", "love 'em all" & "love brunettes" as well as a highlighting powder. Also included in the kit are a sponge applicator/brush & a tiny pair of tweezers. I find that the "love 'em all" shade works wonders for filling in my brows--can also use the blondes shade for a slightly lighter colour. And because I'm thrifty that way, have started using the darkest brunettes shade as eyeliner. ;) The tiny brush works well to fill in my brows & the colour lasts all day.
