Who needs high end!

Love this little beauty. In fact i have to go buy a new one very soon. I use this every time i do my makeup, without fail. How can you go wrong for 4 bucks, this base not only intensifies any color put over it, but the lasting power is intense. The off days i fall asleep without removing my makeup ( i know i know) ill wake up an my shadows still look like i just put them there. Well at least for most shadows, some its the shadows fault not the primer. HIGHLY recommend this.

Great value! A staple in my makeup kit!

Works like a charm! I love the light creamy texture and the way it covers dark inner circles. It keeps eyeshadow from creasing and stays on all day. It works so well, you'd think you'd spent a lot more! A tube will last me 4 months easy. Such a great value!

In general, I think you get what you pay for but Essence is one of the exceptions to this rule in many cases and this eye shadow base is no exception. I have used the I Love Stage base for ages and love it. My shadow sticks to it well but I hated the orangey colour on my really pale skin, especially in winter.

Essence's newest addition to the line is a paler, nude toned primer base to intensify colours by giving them a whiter base with the same primer quality as I Love Stage. It is now my go to product. I still use Smashbox eye primer under as I have a dry patch on my eye nothing sticks to except Smashbox but this helps the colour stick and helps the colour pop.
