Impressive!

Very impressive mascara especially for the price point! It took me a couple of coats to get the look I really wanted but WOW was it impressive. I feel like the brush took a couple of applications to figure out the best angle for application.

Good value

This mascara is the best cheap mascara on the market. It is not only $5 but it is not clumpy and makes lashes long and glamourous. I would give it 3 stars on quality because it can flake off and leave smudges under your eyes if you don't use setting spray or a coat of another mascara on top

Smudge city

This mascara is incredibly affordable and makes my lashes look pretty good. However, no matter what I do this mascara always transfers and smudges on my brow-bone (I only ever mascara on my upper lashes). Not just a small amount, a lot transfers. This is certainly not the only mascara that does this to me, many high end ones also do so it’s nothing personal. But I have I found other mascaras that help me avoid this issue and I would skip this one if you have inset eyes.

The brush is good

Il fonctionne très bien et je n’hésiterai pas a le racheter pour quelqu’un qui préfère ne pas payer trop cher son mascara! Le rapport qualité prix est bon, il ne coule pas vraiment durant la journée et se démaquille très bien le soir!

Good Mascara

I follow this beauty blogger who swears by this Mascara so I decided to try it out. The price is amazing and I really like the way my lashes look after only 2 coats but later on in the day my lashes do stick together which is disappointing but I am still giving it a shot. I now apply lash oil and then apply the mascara on and my lashes don't tend to stick together.
I'm not giving up on this product because after using all different mascaras this one is in my top 5 for the way my lashes look. Long, dark no clumps.

Perfect budget mascara

When I first saw people raving about a mascara from Wilkinson’s only costing about £3 I was dubious about how good it could actually be. I decided to try it anyway thinking I won’t have lost much if it’s terrible but it was such a great buy.

This product is a great budget option for a mascara leaving you with more to spend on other products. It gives lovely long lashes, sometimes you have to be careful you don’t get too much product on your brush but other than that it’s brilliant. This will forever be in my make up bag.

Does its job but flakes

Great value for the price, but the only problem is that it flakes after a few hours of wearing it. Not recommended for oily skin, but it does volumize my eyelashes. Perhaps i'd recommend for those with drier skin types.

Not Quite Foolproof

I like essence as a brand, but this particular mascara wasn't my favourite. The first few days of use were fine, but after that it felt like I was gooping my lashes. The brush didn't separate my lashes, instead causing them to clump together. While I agree they make my lashes look thicker because of the excess mascara, I feel like my lashes look short and stubby. It might work for you, but I wasn't the biggest fan.

Great price

I ran out of mascara and heard decent reviews on this one so I tried it out, it’s super cheap and works pretty well. If you’re looking for an inexpensive mascara I’d recommend this one

Great value, good performance

I saw a review of this product on Reddit and after seeing the price at Shoppers, I went for it. Amazing prize for a mascara! This product works well but can only put one or two coats on or it will look chunky/spider leggish. I have tried it with a different wand and it works well, lashes look super long. Packaging is a bit tacky but don’t judge a book by its cover!
