I am wildly surprised by this nail-polish! I love painting my nails, but am fairly particular about what nail polish I buy. I refuse to spent large amounts on nail polish, but I typically don't buy the very cheap ones either. I've tried so many brands I know what ones actually last, the ones that simply chip off within a day. (OPI, chips.... Revlon, chips... Sally Hanson Hard as Nails, one of the best ones. FYI.)

For no reason other than curiosity, I purchased a color of this brand, not expecting much due to the price of $2.50. Well the polish lasted on my nails for close to a week without chipping, I couldn't believe it! They also have a lot of fun shades and are easy to buy at shoppers drug mart.

From the price to the quality and the selection of colors this is the only polish I buy!! Their new Gel line is salon quality!! I would recommend this is absolutely anyone who wants an amazing product at an amazing price!!

Great quality and price. The applicator is great and gets really good coverage.
The size of the bottle makes sense, allows you use a majority of the product before it dries out.

For a nail polish under $3 I am in love. I buy the pale pink colour all the time and it looks great for days. A nice healthy nail look and pretty durable. With washing baby bottles and dishes all the time, this nail polish stands up. I like how quick it dries and how easy it is to apply. (even coats)

Not only is this polish extremely cheap, it works so well! I have yet to have polish from essence dry up on me. I especially love the vibrant green colour they have in their line. Their polish is very pigmented and amazingly bright for such a cheap price. I love the flat brush because that always helps make my polish look super smooth, though I know some people can't stand it.

When I picked up a couple bottles of Essence's nail polish, I wasn't expecting much from them. I was in dire need (#firstworldproblems) of a watermelon red, and I was out of my favourite top coat. At $1.99 each, but with no colour name, they fit the bill for the change left at the bottom of my purse.
However, I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly it painted on. The thick, soft, nylon bristled brush nearly encompassed the whole nail for 2 easy strokes without any leakage towards the sides.
As someone with constantly shaking hands, this is especially nice to have.
Completely mess free, it only took two coats of colour, and one top coat and my nails were perfect! It has a relatively quick drying time as well.
I usually opt for budget friendly Sally Hensen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear when I'm in dire straights financially, but Essence easily takes the cake this time. My only complaint would be it doesn't appear to mix well when you shake the bottle, however, this is appearances only. Painting it on it seems very consistent in colour and texture... perhaps when I get to the bottom of the bottle or when it ages I'll have a problem but I'm not there yet.
So if you're in a pinch for overall colour, this is the polish to go for! I've already bought 2 more bottles so no more "hard times" for a while.

I have several of these nail polishes and I love, love, LOVE them all! Don't be put off by the thinking the cheaper price will mean lower quality, because that couldn't be further from the truth. These polishes dry so fast - much faster than most of the 'fast drying' polishes out there. The colors are perhaps not as widely varied as other brands, but I still always find a color I like and can wear day to day, or for an evening out. Great polish, never buying any other brand again!
