Say YESsie To Essie!!

I've been a fan of Essie Nail Polish since day one, so trying their new fall colors was a no-brainer for me. I love, love, love the Empire Shade Of Mind's bold Silver shade. It's attention grabbing & really helps make a statement. The brush is a paddle brush with a rounded edge, which is my favorite feature of all. The rounded edge really helps when it comes to coating your whole nail with just one or two quick swipes, and is literally fool-proof. It makes doing my nails sooo much easier, due to the fact it requires way less strokes to completely cover each nail. I noticed a bit of a difference with their polish's formula as well. I'm not sure if i'm right, but the formula seemed less plastic-y to me, but in the best way possible. It seemed to glide on my nails a lot smoother and coated each nail seamlessly (compared to others), without any issues of tackiness or streaking. Another thing i liked about this polish is the fact that I only needed one coat. I was very pleased with the color payoff. I thought the shade would look darker in the bottle than it did on my nails, but that wasn't the case! I also tried a second coat on my nails and loved the end result even more. It dried fairly quickly and did not chip or peel for almost two weeks, which is almost unheard of- especially because I didn't use a top coat over it & that's a win in my book! I would definitely re-purchase and recommend to anyone that loves a bold silver nail as much as I do!! You wont regret it.
