Chip very fast

After hearing all they hype about gel nail polish I bought this brand. Let’s say it doesn’t stay on any longer then a regular nail polish. Maybe if you don’t do much housework or cleaning it may last. But having kids and constantly washing something they come off!! For teens I would recommend. Colors are cute. So far the best nude color I have found in nail polish came from Essie.

Superior drugstore/mass merchandiser polish

I have several Essie colours, and am pleased with them all. The brush applies the colour well, and I don't need to apply several coats for the darker colours. They last the usual amount of time as other nail polishes, which is about 1 week. I get chips within a few days.

My favourite polish

I love Essie nail polishes especially the gel couture. I have tried princess charming and sizzling hot and loved them both so much. I loved the quality and results I got. It was super easy to apply and dried fast. It looked shiny and glossy and lasted over a week. I definitely recommend. I love their regular polishes and strengthening polishes as well. They have a ton of colours and options to choose from.

I am totally in love 😍 with these 2 Essie Gel Couture colours in 132 PR Stunt and 10 Sheer Fantasy. Perfectly soft for summer with a typical french manicure sheer pink. The other is a purpley pink with a silver sheen that brings sophistication.💗

Nail polish

I love the selection of colors from this line and although they are more pricey than regular Essie nail polishes, the quality is worth it and the colors are vibrant and last a long time!

New favorite polish

At first I was sceptical to try this polish since I'm not crazy about at home gel products. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the polish goes on and how quickly it dries. Nice coverage. My manicure lasted a week which is good for me!

Long lasting polish

Such wonderful nail polish. I love how long lasting the Essie gel nail polish is! There is a variety of colours and they all go on super easily and dry quickly. I find when using the top coat your manicure can last up to 2 weeks!

Beautiful, but not as long-wearing as advertised

Recently I tried the Essie Gel Couture polish in Gala-Vanting with the Gel Couture top coat. Although I love the beautiful shine and the curved brush that makes application quick and easy, I found that the polish took very long to dry and did not last much longer than Essie's regular polishes. After about 4 days of wear, it began wearing down at the tips of my nails, and I started noticing peeling/chips at the edge of the polish after about 5-6 days of wear. My hands were in water a lot due to showering and cleaning but the polish didn't hold up much better than any regular essie polish, so I don't see justification for the price difference of about $4 more. I bought the polish to try it out on sale so I might consider purchasing it again on sale, but not at the regular price.
