Wow!

This stuff is incredible! I've used lots of top coats, with fair results. Essie Gel Setter beats all of them...by far. My manicure lasts forever with this stuff. It doesn't chip for at least a full week. It's also a very thick formula, so it kind of gives your nails that gel thickness you get with a real gel manicure.

Loooooooove it

I buy this product all the time! It creates a thick, luxurious top coat without taking forever to dry. I get a lot of compliments because it makes my nails look professionally done. It also helps my nail polish last a long time.

Best top coat!

I've always had a hard time making at-home manis last more than a day or two without chipping. This top coat has been a total game changer - particularly when paired with an Essie base coat and 2 coats of color, this top coat can keep my nails looking great for a full week, no touch ups required!

Makes my mani last

This top coat makes my home done manicure last over 2 weeks no matter what nail polish is used underneath. It is also very thick on the nail and I enjoy that. It is finicky though. You must apply slowly and use a lay and smooth technique rather than swiping to avoid streaks and air bubbles. I find a thick application lays down nicer than a thin. I find the bottle is only fluid enough to use until it is half full and then you have to throw it away.

I've been asked if I have gel nails multiple times!

I love the Gel Setter topcoat. I've been asked many times if I had gel nails done and I reply "nope, it's Gel Setter, by Essie!" I love the look of gel nails, but my nails can't handle it so the Gel Setter gives me the gel look, without the damage. Easy to use and happy with the results. The product does get a bit thick and goopy half way through use though. For the price and quality, I don't mind.

Best top coat ever!

This is the best top coat ever! Nailpolish lasts a good week without chipping, i basically start seeing nail growth before it chips. Highly recommend this product.

High-Shine Gel-Like Finish that Lasts!

This product met all of my expectations. It dried to a high-shine, long-lasting, gel-like finish that lasted at least a week. That's a long time for me because I do a lot with my hands! I love that you can apply it on top of any nail polish and that you can remove it with regular nail polish remover. No curing involved and it dries quicker than you think. I would recommend this product and purchase it again.

Pretty good top coat

I was in dire need of a top coat and was on a budget, so I picked this up as it was on sale. What I like about it is that it can work with or without gel nails, so it's versatile. You don't need the whole lamp set up for it to work. It's sets nicely on just regular polish.

Looks like a professional gel coat

This stuff makes any old polish look like a million bucks. I bought a cashmere matte polish that I no longer like and covered it with gel settter. BAM! Looks great. Just give yourself lots of time to let it dry and set.

Awesome shiny top coat

This top coat made all my nails and designs look good it's so shiny and goes on smooth and works with nail art very well and made my designs last a lot longer
