I find this nail polish to be expensive for what it's worth. I am quite disappointed because I love the colour range that Essie carries. But whenever I purchase an Essie nail polish although I love the colour, I can only enjoy it for a day before it peels off! This nail polish doesn't even get the chance to chip because it peels off extremely easily in one or two pieces after only a day of wear. Due to this, I might as well just buy a cheap brand and formula if it's only going to last a day. I also find the nail polish oxidizes and goes clumpy in the bottle causing bubbles in my nail application much quicker than my other polish brands.

Essie's polishes are a hit and miss for me. I believe you definitely have to do some research before buying a color. For example, Turquoise & Caicos is a beautiful color but the formula is so runny and doesn't even reach full opacity after 3 generous coats. But then a color like Lion Around or French Affair apply like a dream! Nails look smooth and opaque in two coats. Their "luxe effect" glitters are some of my favourite glitter polishes.

In terms of staying power, a good top coat is key. Seche Vite or Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Invisible have worked well for me.

I also feel like they are overly priced so definitely look out for a sale...unless you absolutely need a color (we've all been there ladies)

Everyone was talking about Essie and I loved the colours in the jars so I bought a couple polishes. First off, they are EXPENSIVE!!! This was the worst polish I have ever tried except for dollar store polish. It stays on for maybe a day (even with a top coat) and chips off so easily. Also you need 3-4 coats to just get close to the colour in the bottle. Definitely doesn't live up to the hype and I won't be buying this again!

I have bought a few of these nail polish as they seem so great but really they don't surprise me! I feel like they take forever to dry. Once it's done it looks nice for a couple of days but they don't last that much...at least not on me. It's just so easy for me to litteraly peel them off! So I never get them for the regular price only on sale and because they have very nice colors.

Everyone loves Essie! Right? The colours are amazing. They are a bit pricey for nail polish, but it's a quality coat and they last forever. I can never choose which X one I want- I want them all!!

About 2 months ago I started to obsess over nail polish. I love all the cute names for the Colors. I think I have spent a small fortune on this brand. I have tried other brands but always seem to come back to this brand.

I received a mini Essie polish in the colour of Viva Antigua in a subscription box! I just love the colour! It has a wee bit of sparkle in it, as well. The colour is great for summer! It is part of their Summer 2016 collection. It applies very nicely. I applied 2 coats and thought it looked great!

Essie est la meilleures marques de vernis de magasins de grandes surfaces. La qualité et la dureté de ce produit est super. Elle s'applique très facilement et parfois nous avons besoin qu'une seule couche. Le seul inconvénient est qu'ils sont assez dispendieux.

Les meilleurs vernis à ongles des magasins à grandes surfaces et de pharmacies! Les couleurs sont tout simplement incroyables et il y a un important nombre de différentes couleurs dont il est difficile ( voir impossible) d'en choisir seulement 1 à la fois.
