I love Essie's wide range of colours but they take a bit longer than usual to dry and chip within the first day.
Essie has an amazing variety of colours, but the formula is so thin that one coat is never enough. The colours are usually only opaque after 2 or 3 coats.
I love essie nail polish. I love the wide colour selection and unique names. I also really like the packaging. I like how they are always coming out with new colours. I do wish it went on a bit thicker though.
I use Essie quite a bit and love the arrange of colours they have, the polish goes on smooth and dries smooth as well leaving my nails looking great! The only downside ive had is without a good top coat it chips easily, but its easy to fix up.
This product is amazing, but I must admit that it has its flaws. Essie nail polish has a wide variety of colours that are easy to apply and look great, but one coat is never enough with essie! The colours usually only look good after 2 or 3 coats and the nail polish chips easily.
I have a love/hate relationship with this brand of nail polish. On one hand, I absolutely love their colour selection. So pretty! On the other hand, a lot of the polishes are quite difficult to apply and require many coats, sometimes more than 3. A top coat is a must with these polishes or they will chip after a day or two. The prices really varies, as well, depending where you buy them. I only purchase these when they're on sale.
Have a great selection of colours with seasonal specials. Of all the nail polishes that I use Essie always seems to last he longest when used with their 2 in 1 base/top coat.
I have been using Essie polishes for about three years now and I continue to buy them because I like the colors they offer and how long it lasts on my nails without chipping. I can go up to a week and a half to two weeks without a single chip.
Now Essie isn't perfect at all, their lighter pink/nude shades are normally a hit or miss- as many are sheer and need multiple coats and are still not opaque yet. So if you are looking for an opaque color, try the deeper light colors.
The price range is pretty different depending on where you live... in Canada it's around $9-11 per bottle and it c can be as cheap as $8 if you find them on sale.
Although essie provides beautiful colors, I find this deceiving for the price you pay. enamel starts chiping after 1-2 days even with a top coat.
Now, when i find a shade i really like, I try to find a similar one in another brand
I love the colour selection that Essie carries. I find that the polish lasts longer with a clear top coat.
