100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
It is quick dry.I just aply it always when I do my nails.I like the fact that it is quick dry.It is clear like usual.I get it.This is only the quick dry top coat I can find.
Average fore what I wanted it for. The price was amazing so I will probably purchase it again once mine is gone. Acts and delivers the same results as more expensive brands but does not dry as quick as I had hoped.
Love this Essie top coat! It's one of the best by far. It dry fast and easy to apply. The consistency is not thick at all. And the finish is glossy yet doesn't give a bulky look. It also seems to last quite a long time on the nails. I love how fast it drys and 2 coats of it should be as good as those day shellec nail out there. I am not ready to try any other top coat as this Essie one is one of the best and the price is not that bad, especially when there is a sale. I highly suggest to stock a couple of them. You will not regret it.
I love this top coat!
I first picked up a bottle when Shopper's had Essie stuff on for $7.99. I ended up doing my nails the next day so I tried it out. I was very happy! This top coat is better than any other I have tired as not only does it dry your nails faster (less time waiting around with wet nails is a total plus!) but it also gives a glossy protective coat to your polish you can actually feel. After my first application, I noticed myself feeling my nails; they felt so great. Needless to say, i went back and bought three bottles for back ups before the sale ended.
The only downside is that if you use too many layers or touch up (I like to add a fresh layer of top coat every other day or so) you can end up with too much making it chip in big flakes. I try to keep it to no more than two coats to prevent any premature damage. Overall a great top coat worth a few extra dollars.
I picked this product up at Shoppers today because I've been in the market for a quick dry top coat. I know that the drips work but ideally I would prefer to consolidate the process with my top coat. I looked at purchasing the China Glaze Quick Dry Topcoat but it was 12 bucks (still not bad), but I realized that I could get the Essie To Dry For at Shoppers on sale for 8.99 so I went with that. I also have brand loyalty with Essie as I like their formulae.
I like the bottle that Essie polish comes in. It's square and the brush reaches all the way to the bottom, which is good for value, cause if the formula holds up you can use it for a while. Essie nail treatments come in a box, which is a nice touch, but kind of unnecessary packaging. Nice plain labelling on the bottle, which I like.
I was optimistically skeptical as to how well this would perform. I even bought a new polish to try it with, Nicole Nail Ya Azalea, a deep red with pinkish microglitter. When I applied it, about 5 minutes later my nails seemed dry! I don't know if I would change or take a shower, but they were reasonably dry to the touch. It' s about 20 minutes later and I would feel comfortable doing just about anything, I'm pretty confident that they're totally dry. The finish is super glossy and super snazzy so I'm hoping that it wears well.
I'll be sure to update on how long this top coat wears, but I am enjoying it so far!
I've had the chance to try this product with a wide variety of my polishes and I have to say that I love this product even more then the first times I tried it. I can actually wear some of my polishes that I love the colour but they take forever to dry - like my Avon Cotton Candy. This actually works and leaves a glossy shine on your nails. They dry very fast even when I apply 3-4 coats. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this top coat.
