essie makes my nails feel loved!

I was pleasantly surprised by the essie TLC line of polishes. I am a nail polish junkie and have tried almost every product out there. What I love about the Treat, Love & Color line is how my nails feel cared for with just a coat of colour. I can put this nail polish on without a base or top coat in a matter of minutes - it dries within 10 minutes. When I removed it, my nails looked a lot less dry than usual and the next day they still look less dry than usual. So impressed! I love the shade I tried: Mauve-tivation. A lovely purpley pink that is super flattering.

Smooth and Opaque!

The formula for these (I have 5 now) are a bit more fluid than typical Essie polishes, but still almost opaque in one coat and self-level very nicely. I love that there is some nail care built into these polishes and the array of shades are quite nice and wearable for day to day. I have one more shade on order so I am looking forward to trying them all!

Beautiful nail colour

I love Essie nail polishes, but the Treat Love & Color really impressed me with it's opaque finish with just two coats. I got the In a Blush, and I'm absolutely in love with it.

This nail polish and nail strengthener is so great. I love the color i received which was indi go for it. I love that you don't need to apply a base coat or top coat. It is such a great color and polish. I have yet to test the longevity but two coats of this polish and that's all you need.

I am loving the Essie Love treat & Color Nailpolish! First coat goes on smooth and super pigmented! I have had one coat on my nails for 5 days now and Just now is it starting to show wear. My nails feel stronger than before and dont bend as easily!

Bonne base fortifiante

J'ai choisi d'essayer la teinte 00 (translucide), car j'aime porter qu'une base. J'étais contente de pouvoir essayer une nouvelle base qui a fait l'objet de 5 ans de recherche! Ce que j'ai remarqué en premier quand je l'ai appliqué, c'est la vitesse à laquelle il sèche. En une minute, c'est vraiment sec! Par contre, vers la fin de la journée, il a tendance à créer une bulle vers le haut des ongles, ce qui fait que je peux retirer entièrement le vernis de mon ongle, en une fois. Lorsque j'ai enlevé le tout et que j'en ai réappliqué, même chose. Ce doit être la texture de mon ongle qui fait ça.

Je pense alors qu'il s'agit d'une bonne base qui sèche très rapidement, idéale pour les retouches pressées.

Great quality Nail Polish

Incredibly pigmented nail polish that is easy to use!

First of all, I want to start by saying that I have only been wearing this nail polish for 4 days, so this is very much a first impressions review.
This nail polish is supposed to be a coloured nail strengthener. Most nail strengtheners are just clear treatment polishes. However, these Essie Treat Love & Color polishes are tinted strengtheners, which is so nice! If you have brittle, dry or cracking nails, I would much rather have a nice colour on them, than show my brittle nails.

I received the shade "Mauve-tivation", which is a beautiful purple mauve shade. I really love the shade of this polish; it is perfect for spring!
When I first opened this polish bottle, I was very surprised and impressed. First of all, the brush is slightly wider than normal Essie polishes. Essie polishes have one of the thinnest brushes out there, which is not really my preference. While it allows increased precision, it takes more work to not get a streaky finish because you have to do more strokes to cover your nail. However, this Treat Love & Color brush is slightly wider, making it easier to cover your whole nail with fewer strokes.
Secondly, I will not be the first person to say that Essie polishes are classically more sheer than other brands. They usually take 2-3 coats to achieve full opacity. In fact, in the description of these Treat Love & Color polishes, it claims that these are supposed to be sheer. Well that is so not true! This nail polish was fully opaque with only one coat! That is so rare in nail polish, especially with Essie, so I was very impressed. I can't say whether this is the case for all of the other shades, but it certainly was for "Mauve-tivation".

I found that this polish dried down pretty quickly. With these Treat Love & Color polishes, you do not need to use a base or top coat, you only use this polish. You are also supposed to use two coats of it. With this shade I found that you really didn't need two coats (at least where colour opacity is concerned), but I followed the instructions and applied two coats of it anyways. I found that this polish dried in half and hour, maybe less. That is very quick for multiple coats of nail polish, especially without a quick dry top coat. So again - very impressed.

So far this nail polish has worn mostly like a typical nail polish. After 4 days of wear I have one finger chipped, but the rest have worn down only slightly. So I would say that this polish has worn slightly better than the typical nail polish. The only exception that I would say has been that because I have not used a top coat, the surface of the nail polish on my nails has definitely gotten marked up with scratches on the surface. But that is really not noticeable unless you are in a certain light. It's not like the polish has been scraped away, but there are imprints of scratches and marks. This would be solved with the use of a top coat.

In terms of strengthening my nails, I haven't noticed a huge impact. I have two nails that are noticeably more brittle than the rest, and they still feel pretty weak. However, they have not split since using this polish, and they were splitting before I applied it. This polish is supposed to help your nails over the long term, so it will be really interesting to see if it does!

Overall, this is a great nail polish that doubles as a nail strengthener! I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a great opaque nail colour that is low maintenance and has a quick dry time. I currently have another shade on its way to me in the mail!

As a part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club, I received the shade Indi-Go For It! as a gift to try out and I'm really, really happy with it.

In the cold prairie winter, my nails are almost always a mess, so I love including products in my routine that will help to nourish and treat my nails, so I was really excited to try out the essie Treat Love & Color polish. I found that the shade Indi-Go For It! was opaque in two thin coats and leveled pretty nicely. Because I did have some uneven texture in my nails, I did add a third thin coat to help even out the look of my nails and it worked quite well. I wore this polish for 5 days before I removed it and I didn't notice any chipping or flaking and only minimal tip wear. Overall, my nails felt quite strong while wearing this polish and I'm super eager to try out more shades in the collection.

I received Essie Treat Love & Color nail polish for free from the chickadviaor review club. I chose the shade "Sheers to You" and made the order through Amazon.ca. I received the product relatively quickly. I followed the instructions and put 2 coats of products. I have been wearing this polish for a almost a week and I'm loving it! I noticed my nail grew longer and stronger without my nail breaking or peeling! I also love the shade; it's a nice light pink sheer shade. There is no need to put a base or top coat. I definitely recommend this product to those who are looking for a nail care that will make your nail stronger! I can't wait to try out the other shades! #gift
