Loving the new Essie TLC Formula

I like the new formula of the Essie Treat Love & Colour line. I picked up the shade A-Game which is gorgeous pinky mauve shade. I felt like the formula is pretty thick and manages to cover most of the nail in one coat but you do need two coats for a complete opaque finish. It dried pretty quickly and I have had it on for a few days. I did not see any chipping and my nails feel strong and sturdy. I will be trying out other shades from this line for sure!

Pour les mamans pressées!

J’ai été ravie d’essayer le nouveau vernis fortifiant d’Essie TLC. Il est idéal pour les femmes pressées comme moi! En une étape, on traite et on met de la belle couleur sur nos ongles. En plus, nul besoin d’appliquer une couche de base ni de couche protectrice. Un seul flacon nous procure tout ça!
Pour le format, Essie reste fidèle à elle-même. On retrouve des bouteilles en 13.5 ml. La forme de son pinceau est comme ses autres soins. Le pinceau applique uniformément la couleur sur nos ongles. La texture du vernis est assez épaisse, ce qui nous permet de ne mettre que 2 couches pour une bonne couverture des ongles. De plus, son odeur n’est pas tant désagréable. Pour sa tenue, je m’attendais à un peu plus, mais il faut dire que j’ai toujours les mains dans l’eau, étant à la maison avec mes bébés garçons.

I chose the colour 'Minimally Modest'. I applied 2-3 coats one night, and then applied an extra coat the next evening. The colour is very pretty, and makes my nails look so natural and healthy. It was very easy to apply, and it didn't take long to dry at all. I'm very pleased with the product. My nails do feel a bit stronger, and hopefully this will help stop them from chipping and splitting.

All in one nail polish!!

I love this! Not often do you find a nail polish that helps strengthen nails and helps with peeling! Especially in the winter, my nails are so brittle and so far this feels like my nails have gotten harder which I like! Will have to get this in another colour in the near future!!!

Treats & Colours!

I've been using different brands of nail polish for weak/brittle nails for a couple of years to help repair the damage of the acrylic nails I wear through the winter. Typically the options I had available that worked were clear and pretty pricey, and you go through it pretty quickly, applying coats every other day!

When I found this new line by essie, I was excited! It had a selection of lovely colours and it only requires two coats once a week! And it was half the price of the other brands I was buying!

So, does it stand up to what it claims? Yes! For me, it's been great. I find it chips pretty quickly, but the polish is coming off, not my nails, and my nails are growing in nice and healthy! Can't recommend this product enough!

Very pigmented!

I was very excited to try Essie's new "Treat, love & color" I tried the color "blush" which typically a light coloured polish would need multiple coats but to my surprise this light pink/neutral was VERY pigmented! I was very impressed and now I want to try more colors!

Love it ! J'adore ce vernis à ongle la couleur est magnifique et s'applique à merveille ! Le rouge vif est ma couleur préférer à coup sur parfaite avec mon sac a main :)

Excellent for work

In between shellac application I like to give my nails a nice break. I apply this treatment once a week for a month and I find it strengthens my nails while still providing a pretty sheen.

Great Alone or as a base Coat!

I opted for the Treat me bright colour (clearish), and it's a lovely shimmery colour that I have been wearing as both the only polish and as a base coat for other Essie polishes (i.e. the chalkier colours).

As a base coat, it has actually helped prevent some of the normal day-after chipping that some of the flatter Essie colours seem to have; and as a solo polish, it's nice enough and durable enough, that it lasts me all week long.

I have even been able to do my camp chores (cutting and burning branches and wood) with minimal chipping of the polish as a solo coat! this doesn't happen often, so it's definitely a bonus feature.

My nails seem to be peeling and breaking less, and even the cuticles don't seem as dried out.

Overall, it does what is says it does, and it's my new go-to!
