poor pigmentation, weak staying power
Im really disappointed with these shadowsticks! I picked up Guilt and it did not apply very pigmented and after a few hours, they didn't wear well... it may have been the result of the how they reacted with my oily lids, but they looked like they had started to melt off my lids but dried. It was not a good look. It just was one big hot mess! I will have to try these shadow sticks with a shadow base and primer and see if they wear better.
The product is housed in a slim plastic packaging that twists up. When you open it up, the tip is presharpened but it will get duller as you use it up. The end of each stick has a color coordinated cap so you can easily tell what shade you are picking up. The packaging feels fun and true to Estee Edit's brand.
Guilt had great pigmentation and lots of shimmer. I'm using this as an "eyeliner" but I think it would be better to use this as an eyeshadow. It tugs slightly on the skin as the formula is not as creamy but this is what gives it's long last power. However, the formula is smooth and not patchy at all. I swatched them on the back of my hands and went about my day and it stayed on without budging! These will also last on your eyes for 12 hours easily.
