Cute idea, but poor execution
This is a cute item, think spirograph meets etch a sketch. But the lines erase poorly and after shaking and trying to get them to erase they are still there. My daughter enjoyed playing with it and my husband tried multiple times to make something look cool, but was unsucessful.
Old school toy
I was lucky to receive the etcha sketch pad for free and did it bring back memories of my oldest daughters childhood. This time around it's my 5 year olds turn to play. It only took her a minute for her to get how to use it but after a minute she was a master creater. She loved how she could draw and easily erase just by shaking it. We played for quite a while she really enjoyed it. With all the technology out I was excited to play with an old school but revamped toy . I guarantee it will be well used by children and adults! I recommend it for all ages!
Etch a sketch
I have the etch a sketch revolution. Works great for the 3 yr old on trips in the car. Turn those dials and watch what happens. The 4 yr old was not quite as entertained.
There are lines in it. When shaken vigorously, there were some lines that did not disappear. Interesting to a bit newer of a design.
Kids like it
The kids liked it, but the screen area has lines and circles that will not go away no matter how hard you shake it. They do like that you can turn the 2 dials and also the frame around the circle to make circles inside. The lines that you draw shake off nicely. It is light weight and will be good for in the car traveling.
So much fun
So much fun for my youngsters and the entire family. We play charades and the kids love it. Draw and erase each and everytime. So simple to use and so much fun.
Very fun game
I bought this game for my 13 yrs old son. But the whole family ended up gathering around taking turns. It is very fun and interesting. It's something that I think will be played with over and over again.
Bring Back Childhood Memories
My husband and I both had the old school version growing up now our kids are enjoying the modern version. It works similar to the old version. Our kids used it for a recent road trip and kept them entertain for hours.
my son loves these. especially while riding in the car cause he loves to draw and he doesn't have to try to keep the paper and crayons together. also, it saves me money not having to buy paper all the time or wasting
Me being over 30 years old still enjoy playing with the echo stetch. This is a classic that will never get old. I love the ease of maneuvering the drawer using the turning dial and EVERYONE fav part SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE to erase your master piece only to create a new one
Not Your Old School Etch A Sketch
I loved my original Etch A Sketch, but this one is obviously not the same as you remember. My girls love drawing all the time so got this for them last Christmas. They love it and still play with it every so often. The screen is showing major signs of wear being beat around and drawn on for a year. I wish it held up a little bit better, and also wish that the stencils were attached somehow because those are long gone. And the last thing I would change would be that it is VERY hard to clear the screen. None of my kids (under 5 years old) can clear it without help and even my wife has issues with it at times. But with all that said by daughters do love to play with this often!
