I had tried eucerin before, but was not happy with many of their products. I thought they seemed a little ... runny. This jar of healing ointment, I must say, is worth the buy. I bought it on a whim because it was on sale. had low expectations. But in the end I was quite satisfied. I would definitely put this on my top 3 list!
Okay so this is a product I stand behind. My one complaint is I got the jar and I prefer a pump so the cream doesn't collect under my fingernails. I wanted the largest product though. If there was an applicator stick that came with it like some of my face creams that would be awesome. Like a tongue depressor stick except shorter. My legs FLAKE especially in winter. I hate it - I look like a snake shedding it's scales. No joke, my legs leave white bits on the inside of black pants. So gross. And I can't stop scratching so that makes it reddened and worse. This cream is awesome to combat those serious flakes and redness. Look past the slightly high price and say goodbye to scaly red skin.
I use it as a protective layer over my eczema to stop the itching and it works really well. It not only keeps the area moist but also keeps me from touching it. However, I don't feel it does anything in the long term.
Our winters are very dry and I use this for myself and my daughter at night and it works well. It forms a barrier so that it lasts all night. It feels a by greasy at first but once it absorbs in it is not bad. I would recommend this this for those with dry skin.
This is the best moisturizer for chapped lips and dry cuticles. The packaging is very simple and it's pretty plain but it's the best I have found and I always come back to it. I use this every night on my lips and nails, especially in the winter.
I know this isn't a conventional use for Aquaphor, but this ointment has been the only thing that has worked for my dry, cracked, raw, often bleeding lips. I put it on before bed and wake up with moisturized lips.
I tend to use this most when i'm sick. Either for dry skin around my nose from constant running and blowing of the nose or when i have the stomach flu. Yes for THAT area that can get raw from diarrhea. Good for what i need it for.
I started using this product after I experienced some redness and rough dry patches of skin in my hands and wrists. I work at the hospital thus I wash my hands ALOT and it dries out my skin.I usually buy the Eucerin hand cream, but decided to try this one out. After a few days of applying it on my hands and wrists, it healed completely. It provided a great barrier between my skin and all the hand washing. It is non scented and gentle like texture. This is a great product! I recommend it especially if you work in a work environment where hygiene practices is very important.
Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment is a water-free, paraffin-based ointment that forms a barrier over the skin to help stop moisture from escaping. The key ingredients Panthenol and Bisabolol are soothing on dry skin and help reduce redness. It also contains Glycerin to moisturize and is gentle enough for use on babies.
Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment is non-comedogenic, and has no added fragrances, colorants, alcohol or preservatives that typically cause skin irritations.
The scent is light and does not bother me.
I enjoy #Eucerin and recommend to all.
I have used this in the past after I got a tattoo and my skin was sensitive. It worked great, kept it nice and moisturized and has no scent. It is a little greasy, but you can massage it in and it is fine after. It coats the area nicely and keeps it smooth.
Overall, a nice staple for dry skin, and good to have around the house.
