This vacuum is ok for small jobs or to vacuum the stairs where you don't want to bust out the full size vacuum. As far as using it every day, NO. It takes quite a few passes to pick up and the dirt container is small so you have to keep emptying it. I wouldn't recomendar this stick vacuum because I have seen other stick vacuums that pick up much better. So don't waste your time or money.
