When my great-grandmother, two grandmothers in separate countries, and my own mother swear by a product, I tend to sit up and listen.

All of the formative women in my life have the same opinion, so I decided to try it for myself.

The consistency of this lotion is very, very watery; it will come running out of your bottle, so be careful. It has that strong, clean scent I have always associated with nivea products, but for me it's almost comforting.

To put the lotion on, that is wonderful. The thin consistency means that it glides on skin so easily and where ever it has been absorbed feels firm and loved. There is a little bit of a greasy feeling, but it doesn't last very long, becoming soft, nourished skin.

As a personal note, I find that this works the best straight out of the bath or shower!
