Great tool for connecting with people, but sometimes it can be a waste of time..

Facebook can definitely suck you into their world. It's a big distraction. Keeping me a bit OCD on it. I have to admit it keeps me in the loop about whatever is going on in the world. I have read a lot about people's deaths or what people's personal comments are. Sometimes it gives me a false sense of who I am or how I should present myself. I wish it would go away.

I sort think social networks are a bit overrated. If you are using Facebook because of business or family or friends that you don't get to see often, it's not so bad. I don't like the way Facebook works really. I am not really into social networking in general.

It's a great way to connect to friends and family but the ever changing policies and setting are kind of getting on nerves now. The safety of our personal information is also questionable.

I have recently deactavated my Facebook because of many reasons. The main reason being it has been floded with pictures, adds, complaining posts, qoutes, stupid picure jokes, and not enough real people posts. With the not enough people posts if they do decide to post its either negative or something nobody cares about like giving my dog a bath or even too much. FACEBOOK IS BECOMING TUMBLR! When clearly its not it was designed to connect with old friends and now is all about the owners getting money from all the ads.
