A young man (Matthew McConaughey) continues to live at the home of parents who, in desperation to push him out of the nest once and for all, hatch a plan. They hire a beautiful woman (Sarah Jessica Parker) to entice him to assume the mantle of responsibility and get his own place.

Matthew McConaughey is quite funny in this movie as the son who doesn't want to leave the comforts of home. A great cast that touch on the difficulties of letting go from a parent and a grown child's point of view. Kathy Bates is very believable as the mother who feels torn between letting her son go and being alone with her husband and finding out that they no longer have anything in common. It's time for Tripp to leave the nest but he needs a bit of help to keep him out for good. HIs parents decide to hire an expert to speed the process along. Will it work?
