The product is used to freshen the air and 'kill' germs. It has a light fragrance that is quite 'perfumy'..not sure if that's a word..but oh well....the fragrance, if used in the bathroom probably wouldn't overpower any odours created there. It does last a while..so might be used to cover up light odours...say in a garbage can or shoes.
