I rated these basically on fibre alone. I bought these for the fibre boost but really it's not a ton more than a normal granola bar. The name is decieving! I really like the taste though, makes a great fast breakfast on the go. I tried the peanut butter ones and loved them....and also the caramel ones but didn't have as much love for their flavor! Overall they are only average in my books.

I did not enjoy these at all. I thought that I would try them because I keep hearing all they hype over everything fibre 1... honestly these are overtly sweet, faux candy bars masquerading as a healthy alternative that doesn't even have that much fibre in it. You are better off to choose an all bran product or just eat more fruit and vegetables if you are trying to increase your fibre intake.

Great tasting. Does what it is supposed to. However, I only eat this on days I am staying home because it gives me gas.

Although they don't supply as much fiber as I'd had hoped, they taste great and are filling. Pick this up before picking up a chocolate bar - at leas you'd get some nutrients from it.

I agree with the previous review. These masquerade as being great for you, but if you're serious about getting more fiber you're probably better off with the cereal. I don't even find them to be that yummy because I got the peanut butter kind and found it to be sickly sweet. Don't get me wrong I am all about the sweet treats, but its not cool when you're trying to have a healthy breakfast type snack and you feel like you're eating a Hershey bar. Also, there are only 5 in a box, which I find to be too few for the price you pay.

I think the bars are tasty, but when you read the fine print they don't offer very much fibre - only 5%. You get more fibre from eating a pear, which is better than consuming all of the extra sugars. If you want a snack and they're on sale not a bad choice. If you think you'll be improving your diet by eating one - not so much. I'd have to say in the cereal bar category they taste better than most, but don't provide you with the essentials the advertising totes.

I usually steer clear of bars becaue I've got some real bad tasting ones earlier, but Fiber one oats and chocolate bar changed my impression. I was just so wowed by its soft chocolate tidbits and chewy oats, it's become my favorite. It has a very high content of fiber and very nutritious overall and I still didn't have to compromise on taste...now thats a first.
