I find these granola bars to be an extra sweet treat with lots of fibre. I find them quite sweet but like the fibre. I think the cost much more than a regular granola bar, so I don't buy them very often; usually when they are on sale.
I have to say that I didn't really enjoy these granola bars. They had a weird fake taste to me, and I don't see how they are any healthier than other regular granola bars on the market.
These taste like a sweet granola bar and I am sure they are not the healthiest option but it is a tasty way to add a little more fiber in your day.
I love these tasty little tidbits of sweet and chocolate goodness. It's very practical to keep this in my purse or backpack to tide me over/ for a snack. I like the texture and chewiness of the bars. I question how healthy the bars are since this is jammed pack full of sugar - hahah.
Fibre One Chewy Bars *used* to taste really good. And then they 'improved' it and added some kind of caramel topping to it and the taste went downhill. I do not like it at all now. The texture is great and spot on, but the taste is bad for me.
Nutrition wise, these are decent in fiber, but have a bit too much sugar. View them more as a slightly healthier alternative to a chocolate bar, but don't view them as a good fibre supplement. You're better off eating straight oatmeal for that.
This bar is OK. It is a bit sweet and SUPER sticky. I have had better by Fibre One. This is for sure not their best bar to date. However, I am ok with eating the stock I have! It is decent.
I started buying these when I got pregnant with number two - the iron in my pre-natal vitamins plugged me up a bit and I needed to add more fiber to my diet. I normally would have reluctantly eaten All Bran cereal, which helped with my first pregnancy, but I would really have to force it down.
These bars are a much tastier alternative to the all bran cereal and they seem to do the trick. I even give them to my 2 year old son when he's a little plugged up!
