Ouff
J'ai littéralement dévoré les livres en moins de 2 semaines. Addict jusqu'à la fin. J'ai même vu les films au cinéma. J'ai adoré. J'ai trouvé que s'était bien écrit pas de long passage inutile..!
Dissapointd
I got all three books as a birthday present a few years ago. I read the first book and couldn't bring myself to read the other two. I am not sure what all the hype about these books is. Very degrading.
meh
I was curious what all the hype was all about total disappointment, there relationship was sicking, totally not worth the money or the time to read it
Not my type of book.
This is a really cheesy book. Millionnaire guy, jealous and posesive, falling in love with the most normal girl in the world who didn't have any sexual partner before. You can read the book really fast, but the story in it isn't just my type of what I read normally. I prefer suspens and fantastic genre. My sister was so ennoying when she asked me every two minutes of life for reading it, saying it's the best story ever wroten. I'm not sure this was the thing with that book. I saw so many women reading it in the subway, blushing because everybody known that it talk about masochism sexual intercourse, but it wasn't that hard to read. Nothing to blush about. I was, at some point, really disapointed of this book. And of course, I didn't watch the first and the second movie.
Loved it!!!
I'm not much on reading books I like to watch movies more but I did like reading this book, it's a very interesting good book, it's definitely not boring, I liked it
!!
The books were well written, the S&M;was really boring to read with not alot of detail but it was from the woman's perspective and she was a Virgin. Love the storyline of the books, all of them. The movie sucked. Will not watch the others. They both played their role terribly and Christian Grey was not good looking at all. Book better than the movie, always kept me on my toes for what the next book had in store.
.
I thought these books were well written ,ket me wanting to read more and more ...but the movies they brought out I'm sorry sucked ....he wasn't what I would have pictured from the book ....she played a good role but sorry books were way better ....
Hilarious
This was totally not worth the watch. The lead female character made me ashamed to be a woman and the author obviously had know inside knowledge of real BDSM. The main male character Christian Grey often struck me as creepy and rapey. Don't know how a woman can have pleasant fantasies about this book/movie. Not worth the read or watch.
ugh
I just dont understand the hype over this garbage. This woman is a joke. She cannot write and has a horrible attitude. Also has ZERO understanding of a real life BDSM relationship. Its embarassing.

I used to read and write fan fiction when I was a teen. I promise you a lot of amateur writers have astonishing talent and potential. This book series is not representative of the potential of amateur writers. Well, it is a lot like the first couple chapters a new fan fiction writer puts online without volunteer editors and proofreader fans.
I decided to see what this book was about after I heard so much in favor of and against the book. I think it's great that more women are getting in touch with their sexuality, but this book portrays a very unhealthy, often abusive relationship. If you asked anyone in BDSM communities about this book, they would tell you that it is extremely problematic and inaccurate about the community. The only people who push this book as healthy and sexy are people who have been abused, are abusers, or have money to be made of of the people who are now exploring this area. I have to stress that I have no qualms against erotica.
Besides the content matter of the book, the writing was extremely bland and cringe-worthy. I dare you to look up an analysis of the words used in the series. Everything is described as "Wanton". The word beguile is used more often in this book than I have read anywhere else in my life. The protagonist is always "clambering" and anyone's private parts are referred to as their "sex".
Do not waste your time on this book.
