Well, all I can really say is, "I don't know what all the hype was for". I've heard
about the book on several talk shows and went out to buy it. Yes, I found it somewhat ellouring.
Yes, S and M exists in our world for those who are into it.
I just found the read a bit boring. So, I thought I would watch the movie hoping it would
be better than the book. Wellllllll, no thanks.

It's not a great book, but it's not a horrible book. But the movies definitely disappointing! Chilling on beach, want an easy distracting read, this book will do that for you. Characters are well portrayed, and certain parts suck you right in, to the point of distraction. Is definitely erotic, if you aren't into that sort of thing, where the man plays a dominant role over the female, I would suggest not reading it. I read the whole series, and enjoyed it, I probably will not read them again though.

Oh my ! I have read all the books and I will say they kept me wanting to read on more and more ,they she me sexy dreams as well . Greatly written books ,now the movies didn't care for the books were way better . WANNA​ SEE MY GAME ROOM HEHEHEH

Oh jeez, this series was crap. Maybe it could have been better if written by a different author. I couldn't even read the third book, I barely got through the second one.
Sure it's lusty and has some fire to it, but it just gets so repetitive. Even the writing style. I wanted to put the book down, only because of the authors writing style and overuse of words.
Apparently there is lots of mumbling and murmuring going on in these books.
It drove me nuts!
This book was only good for the sexy scenes, the story is kinda crap, and so is the writing. I will never buy this series, nor finish reading it. I don't understand why and how so many women like this book.

J'ai adoré la première Tome. Dès le premier chapitre j'ai embarquer dans le Scénario. L'écrivaine est excellente pour nous faire imaginer les scénario. J'ai eu de la difficulté a attendre le deuxième tome :)

Honestly, I didn't really enjoy this book. I felt like most of it was just taking about "How dreamy Christian" is but not too much in terms what this book was mainly about the steamy love scenes. I guess it could be considered a place to start for those who don't read many of the erotic novels but for myself, it didn't deserve all the hype.

I wasn't a HUGE fan of the movies, I find the actors to be awkward and didn't portray the characters as much as I would have liked but the book was on point, the level of description in all of the stuff going on was incredible i couldnt put it down

This triple series was fantastic but I've also read better. The books I couldn't put down which are the storiesI love the most. If EL James came up with another series I wouldn't even think twice about reading it. I'd definitely read this series over again and that is something I don't agree to ever!

If you enjoy really bad writing then this book is for you, haha sorry!! It was just beyond slow and took forever to really get anywhere. This isn't something that I would recommend to anyone. Sorry ladies.

J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé la série de livres.J'en suis présentement à la lecture du dernier et j'ai de la misère à m'arrêter quand je commence à le lire.Par contre , rien à voir avec le film...tout est différent.Lisez les livres au lieu de voir le film! :)
