I read the whole series in less than a week, and I got sucked right into the story. This was the first romance series I read as I am more of a YA fan. I actually enjoyed the series, I found it quite similar to twilight in a sense of the beginning of the story. I am definitely a fan!!!
I didnt love these books, i found myself going months without reading it. Slightly boring.
Worst books ever written. The subject was steamy, but other than that, it has nothing going for it.
The characters are one dimensional. They are simple. The writing style is terrible It was so difficult to look past the actual words on the page. The author over uses words to the point of making me sick - murmur being one of them.
Do not read these books. Do not watch the movie. I am all for the sexual part of these books, and can see the appeal for that. But seriously, that's all the books have going for them.
In all honesty, the writing of this book is amauteur at best, and it seems like the editors took the day off...but if you can look past that and just read into the emotions and characters I the story it gets really good! I couldn't get enough of this book and even read it allowed at a pub during the day ...which left a few people blushing.
The fact that it was fan fiction for twilight is painfully obvious at first, but after the first 2 chapters it really develops a mind of its own. The entire series is actually quite good, aside from the last half of the third book...that was kind of a joke, it feels like she was pushed to finish writing the story and really rushed it.
I thought it was a fun read. I like the characters. The writing is awful. Very childish. Not a book you would guess a women in her fifty's should be writing.
It wasnt a horrible book, but wasnt the best either. Had some humor. Wasnt as hard core as I thought it was going to be
I wouldn't call it a literary masterpiece, but it does suck you in. You want to continue reading in an effort to learn about how things will pan out for the pair.
