I wasn't a fan of the dry shave

I received this via Chickadvisor, I was very excited to try this Lighted Exfoliator.
I followed the instructions to insert the battery to make the light work and ensure a razor head was in place. It then instructed me to dry shave my face using the directional instructions. I did not find that this exfoliated my skin well as a dry shave. The light did work exceptionally well to highlight my tiny facial hairs.

I really liked the look of the product. It looks very chic and stylish. I also liked how it came with extra heads.

I am a frequent dermaplaner. I have some excess facial hair, and I prefer this to waxing, bleaching or hair removal cream. That being said, I did not find this product effective at removing hair. The razor almost felt dull compared to others I’ve used. If you are looking for a light exfoliation or are very light haired, you may prefer this product more than me.

The glow light was a new concept for me in a dermaplane tool. I did like it for the upper lip area specifically, but I found it too bright for the cheeks. I wish it had light settings.

Works but has some flaws

I received this from Chick Advisor in return for a fair review of the product. When opening the product you receive the main wand with one dermaplane attached, and then six replacement heads. It also has a triple A battery which you assume is for the device, but it actually only powers a light. The entire device is non electronic, more like a fancy facial razor. I found it did help with the facial fuzz with some skin exfoliation but you need to sweep it across your face many many time at different angles to see the full effect. As well, it doesn’t account for the contours of your face effectively. Around your jawline, near your ear, side beside your eyebrow, and upper lip areas are hard to get at as the blade is about an inch long and it doesn’t bend. Overall fine, but you can get these similar from Sephora or Shoppers/ Walmart for a little more cost effective.

Works okay

Works okay. removes some peach fuzz but not hairs. it does a okay job with removing dead skin. I like the light which helps to seeing the hairs and fuzz better.

Not what I expected

I received the Flawless Dermaplane Glow Facial Exfoliator to test and was disappointed with it, it really was not what I had expected. The product is basically a razor blade, very well shielded, on an applicator that has a super LED light. I had assumed the exfoliator ran by battery, but only the LED light requires power. You manually scrape the razor blade across your face to exfoliate and remove hair. I didn't notice much difference after I had tried the product, and I tried it a few times. All that happened was that my face turned a little pink after use, but that is it. It didn't even do a great job removing facial hair. The product comes with the battery needed for the LED and six replacement blades, and an instruction book telling you how to use the Dermaplane.
