I bought these not knowing that you had to use all 20 sticks in one month. I opened the package on cd 12 when I ran out of Clear Blue opks. Then I read the instructions. I was worried they wouldn't work for next cycle, so I sealed the package and left it for the month and didn't use any of them. Started on cd5 as suggested, kept getting no results. Also used some IC sticks to see what they'd say. They seemed to think I was ov about 2 days ago (two dark lines - cd14), yet First Response still said No. Today however, it said YES+ (cd16) when the IC have only a faint second line. I'm going to go with the FR as if you follow the directions closely, and start on CD5. It will supposedly know your hormone levels. Plus, First Response makes the best pregnancy test, so I think they probably know what they're doing with these. Also, I tested a couple times on my peak fertile days with the FR... I knew I'd never need 20 sticks so may as well test twice a day. I think the majority of the people are just angry they didn't know you had to use them all in one month and that the reader shuts down after a positive. I will let you know if I get a BFP this month after using these...

I bought this product at the store because they were out of the clear blue easy brand. First complaint: they need a cap. I don't know about everybody else but I don't like to set something I peed on just openly on a counter or the back of the toilet. Second complaint: the reader shuts off permanently after it gets a yes. Two problems with that, I like to test to see when my LH surge is over, and I usually have sticks left over when finished. I'll have to buy a whole new kit just to use those sticks. Waste of money. Third complaint, and this is just silly complaint but big time in my book... Five minutes is a really long time to wait on results.

I used it to learn when I could conceive to get pregnant of my second child and I was so excited when I try it the first time. I wasn't sure if it has work at first, but then the answer was positive for the next few days.
I used this brand because I trusted it to give me the best answer and it worth the price I have paid! Really easy to use and understand the sheme. PLus I'm pregant after the first try!

the test works well, it is clear, but it did not work for me. The first response products are very accurate and it is appreciated.

After months and months of trying with no success, we decided to purchase these tests and within two months of using them, we got pregnant and we now have our beautiful 10 month old daughter. It really helped narrow down the best days to try and conceive. It measures your hormone levels and is very accurate. I wish we'd have used them earlier! Definitely will purchase again when we decide to try for #2!
