I was 37 when I first tried to concieve. We knew we better get a move on!
For the first 6 months or so, we knew the best days (or so we thought) to try and went with that, to no avail. My girlfriend recommended that I buy a First Response kit and found out the true best days to have sex. 2 months later we were pregnant with our daughter. We wanted to have kids at least 2 years apart and so agreed to start 'trying' again when our daughter was around a year old. By this time I was 39 so assuming it might be a bit harder. But once again, I used the same tests and within 2 months we knew we were having our second child - 28 months after our first.
I recommend these tests to anyone who is trying.
The only reason I wouldn't buy again is because there are no more kids in our future!

This product is very easy to use, easy to read and understandable instructions. The only thing I didn't like was how the test seems to shut off right after getting a response.

The test seems to be pretty accurate, though if you really don't know much about your cycle, it may take a few tries to actually figure out when you should start testing as to not waste too many tests.

For anyone who struggles with getting pregnant, I think the cost is decent, as many woman, myself included will do, and pay whatever necessairy to hopefully, in the end, end up with a positive pregnancy test.

I used the First Response Digital Ovulation Test - 20 Tests a year and a half ago after two surprise pregnancies. But when we decided to plan out last baby we had no luck getting pregnant at all. We tried for almost a year and nothing. We were about to go see a specialist when a close friend of mine told me to give the First Response Digital Ovulation Test a try. So we bought the kit and followed the instructions. Three weeks later I took the first response home pregnancies test and we were pregnant ! With our beautiful baby girl. I would definitely recommend trying the First Response Digital Ovulation Test - 20 Tests if your having a hard time conceiving .

This product is easy to use and i felt better knowing i put every chance of conceiving on my side. This works so well that my sister who has been trying to conceive for the past 11 months tried it and saw she doesnt ovulate regulary but on day 18-21 she got pregnant firts month of trying.

I don't think it's right that the test shuts off after you get a Yes. Some women have two monthly surges, with the second one being the predictor of ovulation. This test wouldn't be able to tell you that. However, if you look at the test sticks when you have a positive, you can see 2 lines that form on the opposite end. You could still try and use the remaining test sticks if you get a reading early in your cycle to see if you get two lines again. I know if you end up having to do this manually, why pay for the bells and whistles of digital? I will say that the digital readings are accurate, though, if the instructions are followed. I'd recommend peeing into a cup and dipping your test as the instructions say it's the preferred method. I never once got a failed attempt using this method. All in all, this test produced what it was meant for and I felt it was accurate in doing so.

I used this with both pregnancies and it was both very easy to use and very accurate. Definelty helped with timing to make getting pregnant much easier

This is the only ovulation test I use. This is the best !!

The only reason I'm giving it one star is because I actually did get a positive result out of the test. But I think its just unbelievable that these tests cost so much money when you can't even use all of the strips! The reader permanently shuts off after you get a positive result so now I don't even know how long my LH phase lasts!! My ovulation is always a little off and I would like to be able to know how many days my LH surge lasts, but with this kit its impossible. this is just a way for them to rip people off and require them to have to buy a test every month. Go with clear blue digital whenever its available. you can use the left over tests the next month if you don't conceive after your positive result and the tests give a result in HALF the time of the 1st response kits. I got pregnant with my 1st son on the clear blue tests and the left over tests still worked 2 years later when I went back to use the remainder of them! (although they don't recommend relying on them after that much time has passed.)
