With no dc/power outlet option if you use the swing frequently you will go through a lot of batteries. Especially if you choose to use the music,mobile or light options. The fact that it swings 2 ways is great though and so are the mobile, light and sound options.

I have had this swing for a few years, I loved it with the first child. It worked wonderful, I had no problems at all. While I was using it for the second child I noticed the batteries would not last very long (I wonder why they done make these so they plug in...it is not something we tend to take with us...), after a few months I noticed the seat was getting loose. Now I am using it for another baby and I am now happy with it. The battery keeps dying, the seat is loose and I can not find a place to tighten anything else, and now the screws in the arm keep coming loose. I am really disappointed as I have never had an issue with a fisher price product before. I would think for the amount of money spent I should have been able to use this product without issue for all of my children.
