This is a great little tub. The plastic is very good quality and very sturdy, easy to lift and move even when full with water. There is a safety line on the inside wall of how much max. water to fill. The bottom has a drain valve that is closed off with a plastic/rubber stopper. It hasn't leaked ever for us. The edges of the plastic are smooth and there is no danger of injury if the child is gripping.

The little hammock insert has two settings, one is newborn and the other one for about 2 months plus. When baby is able to sit unsupported the hammock is not to be used. It helped at the beginning more as a safety net for us parents, gives some security that baby won't accidentally slip down completely. But because it goes a bit above the water it gets the baby chilly when wet. We overcame this by wetting a towel with warm water and putting it over baby's chest.

The two scoop toys that come with it are really cute and help with rinsing or just distracting the baby while getting cleaned. One of them has small holes on the bottom to 'make it rain'.

The only thing i wish this tub has was notches so it can go over the kitchen sink - it doesn't so we used the wide counter area. We used it from the time baby was born until about 9m when she outgrew it.
