New year new resolution. Mine was to eat healthier and be more active. So, I decided to buy a Fitbit. After doing some research, I decided on the Charge. The "in the middle" price wise.
I love it! First off, its extremely easy to use. The ease of set up is wonderful.
It took about 5 minutes to sync and set up with my phone. I love that the stats all sync so perfectly to my other health app on my phone. They work together with no issues. The battery lasts a long time and let's you know well in advanced when it's time to charge. It's lightweight, and I can def say it's water resistant lol.
You can do fun challenges with friends, which helps motivate you to reach your goals. Especially the steps per day one!
Great little device for those starting off healthy and fit ;)
I love my Fitbit charge! It keeps track of my daily steps and calories I've burnt. You can set a daily goal of the amount of steps or calories you want to burn and once you make your goal it vibrates and this encourages you to keep on track. The silent alarm is useful with little daily reminders for yourself or to wake up without disturbing anyone else. Also you can set a stopwatch by holding down the side Button and turning it off by holding it again.
My Fitbit motivates me to get my steps in and exercise more. My favorite feature is the silent alarm feature because it helps me wake up smoothly without being harshly awakened.
I had mine since December 2014. It has broken once and I got a replacement very quickly from fitbit for free. So I will say that their customer service is very very good. It has helped me a lot specially on days I just want to be lazy to get myself to walk more even if it is just around the house.
My husband purchased this as a gift for Christmas.
I wanted one but was unsure if I would really like it. I LOVE IT!
It provides me the visual motivation I need to increase my steps each day. I didn't realize just how much could be done with it...like logging food, water intake, etc. The challenge feature is also very nice....who doesn't like a little competition to make you feel inspired.
I do wish is was available in more vibrant colours and more feminine, but it's a great introduction piece for me
I got my Fitbit Charge for Christmas this past year, and I love it. I am a stay at home mom and I was always wondering how much I was on my feet in the course of a day...and with the Charge I know. It does everything. It counts steps, flights of stairs, calories burned, distance covered, has a silent/vibrating alarm, syncs with your phone and displays any incoming calls, and displays the time and date, all in one comfortable, convenient wrist unit. Half of the time I forget that I have it on. It also tracks your sleep patterns. So if you wake up and don't feel rested, you can look at your app and see how many times you were awake or tossing and turning through out the night. I love that I can sync it with myfitnesspal app, and be that much more confident in reaching my weight loss goals.
This watch had been such a blessing to me since I've had it. It's called the Fitbit surge. It has so many functions I don't know where to start but here goes. The Fitbit surge has a step counter and stair counter to let you know how many flights of stairs you've climbed. It can also help with your sleeping patterns and set goals. It tells you how long it took you to fall asleep and how many times you were restless, how many times your were awake throughout the night. If your phone is in your purse or another room ringing and you can't hear it your Fitbit surge watch will vibrate and has call display so you don't miss any calls. The battery has an amazing charge that lasts about a week. You can set up goals with your friends that also have the watch to have friendly motivating contests. I like that you can add apps to your phone like yoga and the watch can count how many calories you've burned during that particular workout. I like that you can keep count of how much water your drinking throughout the day and input it into your phone also setting weight goals and an easy to use calorie counter to input what you've ate that day and the calories you've burned off. Amazing watch. Oh yah it also tells the time and has the date on it just as any good watch should. I live my Fitbit and I would and do recommend picking one up. They run at about $150 for the Fitbit Surge and $190 for the Fitbit Surge HR which goes a step further measuring your heart rate and blood pressure.
I love my FitBit Charge. I've wanted one forever and finally got one for my birthday this year. It does exactly what it should, fairly accurate logging of steps, sleep, calories burned and levels. I absolutely love the silent alarm feature, back to work with a stay at home husband and a 4 month old having the vibration go off before my regular alarm beeps means no one is disturbed at 5am. I love the interaction of challenges with other fitbit users and it's certainly a motivator to get more steps. I did have an issue with it not syncing for a couple days but that appears to have been a server issue with FitBit directly.
I got my fitbit Charge for my birthday back in June and I was thrilled! Yes I still love it but Im not sure if I love it enough to buy another one. After 5 months the battery just doesnt keep its charge nearly half as long, and the back part is starting to rip making it overly sensitive. If i move my arm up it turns on.
