    Holds tight, no sticky mess!

I bought Fixodent with Scope for the first time about a month ago. I don't ever want to use anything else now! It not only holds tight but gives you a feeling of a fresh tasting mouth all da. I highly recommend it!!

Clean, fresh breath and great hold!

I have worn dentures for 5 years now. My denturist recommended Fixodent powder. It wasn't a great idea. They (the top denture, specifically) would completely become dis-lodged from the rood of my mouth within 3-4 hours, and while I would be talking to someone, you could see it with every word: the sight of a top denture falling up & down repeatedly while I was just having a regular old conversation. The bottom denture dislodged even sooner, maybe 1.5 or 2 hours after application. Then I tried making sure that every single day, I COMPLETELY covered each piece (getting them nice and wet first, too). They still didn't hold.

At Walmart, I went looking for either the Fixodent powder (can be tricky to find!) or (preferably) something new I felt comfortable trying. When I saw that this Fixodent has added Scope in the cream, I was so excited that I purchased the 2-pack. I've added pics of both the singular box as well as the 2-pack ;).

The Scope in this cream sends out spritzes of this wonderful freshness. I'm not sure how long the freshness lasts, but I do know it's for (many) hours. It is the most wonderful, confidence-boosting thing I've run across in a while. The taste in your mouth of the Scope really ensures you are clean all inside your mouth & have very good breath.

The actual adhesive cream IS more potent than the powder; it lasts longer. I've had occasion where I've not been able to soak my dentures overnight and even 3 days later, all but the bottom is still well in place. My bottom denture needs a reline, so the cream on the bottom still only lasts a few hours. To me, this is absolutely not a problem because it doesn't move a lot, no one else knows it's out of place like they could see when my upper denture would keep falling, and you can eat anything, no prob.

The cost for both quantities as of right now in Walmart is $6.98 for 1 100 ml tube, and $10.97 for 2 100 ml tubes. $3.99 is the cost of doubling your quantity. When you consider the 2nd tube having a value of $10.97, the extra $3.99 for the 2nd tube in the combo pack sounds pretty good! (These prices are all NOT on a sale, either). As for how long a tube lasts, I bought my combo pack probably a good 5-6 months ago,and have used maybe 1/3 of 1 tube. Going at this rate, the 2 X 100 ml pack will last me 36 months (3 years, for reals!!) I am one happy gal.

The best advice I could give another denture-wielding Superwoman is to not be afraid to try something different. Denturists and medical doctors share at least 1 thing in common: They both are paid to recommend products. Recommendations do not always equal the best quality. Give this one a go. The most you stand to lose is about 7 bucks. I think you'll definitely like it tho!

P.S.- For some reason, it is only letting me upload 1 picture where it clearly says you can upload up to 3 pics. I chose the single pack of adhesive cream. Sorry, guys!
