great plant based alternative

Flora Plant based unsalted brick was so full of flavour and tasted amazing when used in a variety of ways.
Whether it was used for cooking, baking or on some bread as a snack! The fact that it was also dairy free was a huge plus since I try to stay away from consuming too much dairy. I wish that it could be offered in a wider range of stores though since it was difficult to locate

Disappointed that the main ingredient is palm oil

I found that the Flora Plant-Based bricks were a good butter alternative in terms of taste and texture but I was disappointed to see that the main ingredient is palm oil. Palm oil is a major driver of deforestation and destruction of the rain forest. It may also be linked to increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, it was hard to find and quite pricey.

A good dairy alternative

This was quite difficult to find and also much more than I'd like to spend. However the taste is pretty good! Quite similar to butter. I sometimes have sensitivity to dairy products so it's nice to have good plant-based options. I'm glad that these are becoming more popular! I'll probably stick to regular butter until I need to switch, and I hope these become more affordable over time.

Great but availability

Got this a part of a sampling program and I am just gonna say there is really no difference and you won't realize unless you are crazy about butter. It spears great which the way I like to have on bread. I took 1 star off because of availability issues it took forever to get my hands on this even when I went to thier website to look for location and find the closest location to be about 30 minutes away I drove there and they didn't have so I had to drive somewhere else. If it was more available I would actually switch to this brand.

Impressed and satisfied with the taste and texture

I received a full-value coupon to try this product for free. I was able to locate the product and redeem the coupon at Whole Foods. I selected the unsalted flavour and used it as an ingredient in cooking meals such as steak and seafood. Although it is plant-based, it is very rich and creamy and tastes just like normal butter! I especially love how it is non-GMO and free of artificial flavours and preservatives. I am very impressed and satisfied with this product overall. I will be using this as a spread as well as in all my baking and cooking moving forward!

Tastes just like the real thing!

It’s a no brainer that if a plant based option tastes like the original, that I would go for the plant based option! This plant-based unsalted brick from Flora tastes like the real thing, I used it in my chocolate chips cookie recipe and could not tell the difference!

In love with the flavour

I used Flora plant-base unsalted brick on toasted, vegetables, mashed potatoes plus baking cakes & cookies. I even used it for scramble eggs, grilled cheese etc… loved it & will continue to buy. I’ve been recommending it to my family, friends & colleagues. Excellent product!

plant based!

the best past of this butter is the fact that it is plant based but still works great in any dish! it was nice to see that grocery is slowly turning into a healthy but safe space for everyone- especially vegetarians/vegans.

Great alternative!

I used the Flora bricks to make cookies and I really loved their texture. It was really easy to work with and I found there was less spreading when the cookie baked than usual with dairy butter. Definitely am excited to use it again in something else to see how it holds up. I would note that it is hard to find and only currently carried in Whole Foods locations.

Not like the others

I have tried a few different plant based butters and this one has absolutely blown me away. It is super creamy and spreads exactly like a full fat butter. We primarily used ours to spread on bread to make sandwiches, to make eggs in a frying pan, and to sauté vegetables (think putting it on freshly grilled corn - yum!). We have been trying to eat less meat and animal byproducts in our household overall and this is an excellent way to do so. I would recommend this plant based butter to my family friends and will be repurchasing as soon as we run out.
