Compact and Convenient

The FoodSaver Handheld Vacuum Sealer is a great tool for keeping your food fresh longer. It's perfect for storing leftovers, produce, cheese, baked goods, and even meats—just make sure to freeze the meats first. Its compact and lightweight design is ideal for small kitchens. The device features a one-touch button for ease of use and a removable reservoir for simple cleanup.

However, you do need to press firmly during the sealing process, which might be challenging if you have carpal tunnel. While the cordless design is convenient, the battery life may not be sufficient for larger meal prep sessions. Priced at $38.02, it only works with FoodSaver bags and containers, which can add up over time. Despite this, it’s a solid choice for quick and efficient food preservation.

Great addition to the kitchen

Vacuum sealers should definitely be a staple in everyone's kitchen! They help you save space, reduce food waste and most importantly, save money. My FoodSaver came with 2 zipper bags but they also sell containers which I think are more versatile and worth the investment.

Overall, the product itself works well but I would caution that you need to hold down the button the entire time which can take awhile depending on the size or your bag/container. The only reason I bring this up is because other vacuum sealers I have used in the past require just 1 touch to start and will automatically stop when all the air has been taken out (so it would be a more passive experience. I would also say that although the charging station is compact, I don't love that I have added another charging device in my home and wish it used a usb-c cable instead so that it could be compatible with my existing charging accessories.

An amazing find for storing veggies, leftovers

An amazing find for storing food and veggies or leftovers without taking much space. It can be charged using the charging base provided. It is compatible with all FoodSaver Vacuum Zipper Bags, FoodSaver Fresh Vacuum Seal Food Containers, and FoodSaver Accessories.

Ideal during travel and amazing quality. The only drawback is it doesn’t work for the normal zipper bags or any other bags.

No more dragging out my full size machine for smaller items.

Simply charge it, fill your zipper bag and seal it! Place the vacuum sealer on the grey circle and press the button to seal. If you forget something no problem, simply open the bag and reseal it. Super easy to use and so lightweight.

Unfortunately if you read the instructions the bags are only safe for the pantry or fridge and NOT the freezer. Also the starter kit it only contained two small zipper bags which was disappointing. I would have loved to have tried the containers.

Good for dry pantry foods or cheese and meats in the fridge but I wanted it more for freezer food.

The FoodSaver Handheld Vacuum Sealer has been a great addition to my kitchen. It’s compact and takes up minimal space on my kitchen countertop. I particularly like how easy it is to operate (bag the leftovers and seal it). It comes with a docking station plus extra vacuum zipper bags. This has been very helpful with minimizing food waste from leftovers (apple, pancakes, waffles)

Very efficient sealing

I received a free product to try. I used it to vacuum seal roasted vegetables to use later on. In terms of vacuuming and handling it's very handy and fast. I wish the bags were reusable.

Great Compact Design

Received the FoodSaver Cordless Handheld Food Vacuum Sealer for free for my honest review. Easy to use vacuum sealer. Love that it is compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. Has it's own charging dock which is perfect. Very easy to use just press and it starts. The sound is not loud at all very quiet. Seals the food very well and keeps it fresh. I sealed apples the night before and checked on it this morning they are not brown and still fresh. The only downside is that it only works with the FoodSaver bags which I don't like. I would prefer to buy my own zipper seal bags that I always use. I don't think I would purchase the zipper sealer bags unfortunately. If you are willing to purchase these bags then this product is wonderful. The package only came with 2 bags to use. Would recommend this for keeping your produce fresh!

useful product

I enjoy using the foodsaver cordless handheld food vacuum sealer to seal meats and other foods to go in the freezer. It is quick to use and efficient. It is similar to using zip log bags but a bit faster and also ensures vaccum seal to ensure the food stays preserved for longer. Personally, I am unsure where to buy the replacement plastic/baggies so I find it easier to use zip log baggies. But this would be very useful for those who are busy and have a lot on the go and are also able to find the replacement plastic for it, as it helps preserve food for longer; so I would recommend this product to them. I think it is a great very useful device to have in the house overall.

Great Compact Gadget

This is a great easy to use compact unit for vacuum sealing food! the small profile of this device is perfect for my small kitchen space and I appreciate not having to store a bulky unit. I have been overrun with fruits from my garden and this made storing them for a later date so simple. I really like how quickly this seals a 1 quart bag (it took 10 seconds!) and how straightforward it was to use. The only downside for me is the price of buying new bags and/or containers for future use as they can add up.
