Kevin Bacon was fantastic in this movie! I was gifted Footloose for Christmas when I was a teenager and watched it many times. Such a fantastic story of standing up and fighting for your beliefs. I didn't enjoy the remake as much, wasn't necessary.
This movie has everything going. Great movie, dancing and soundtrack. Kevin Bacon was awesome in the movie. A feel good movie that can be watched over and over again. Not a fan of the remake.
I cannot begin to say how many times I have seen this movie. Hunky, Kevin Bacon, amazing soundtrack and excellent story line. A girl cannot ask for much more than this !
This is a classic, love Kevin Bacon, great love story and teen rebellion movie about bringing dancing back to the town, enjoyable movie
This is a great movie. I love musicals and the music in this makes it hard to sit down. A great story starring Kevin Bacon with lots of dancing going on. If you love dancing and music you will love it!
I remember this movie so well, I was 15 years old and loved it. I wished I could dance like he did. Kevin Bacon was and still is a major cutie pie who is an awesome actor.
Such a classic. Kevin Bacon is perfectly casted as the rebellious lead. The kids, clothes and high school are so believable not like other recent productions.
I absolutely love Footloose! Kevin Bacon is a dream boat in this movie. My absolute favourite scene is the warehouse. Love those moves! A decent story line (if a little unbelievable), and an awesome soundtrack.
Moving in from Chicago, newcomer Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon) is in shock when he discovers the small Midwestern town he now calls home has made dancing and rock music illegal. As he struggles to fit in, Ren faces an uphill battle to change things. With the help of his new friend, Willard Hewitt (Christopher Penn), and defiant teen Ariel Moore (Lori Singer), he might loosen up this conservative town. But Ariel's influential father, Reverend Shaw Moore (John Lithgow), stands in the way.
Sometimes life changes are for the best and you find a new appreciation of the world around you. An interesting storyline that revolves around music and dancing. A tragedy has kept this small town from moving forward until a newcomer shows up to shake things up. A great movie about enjoying life to the fullest.
