A decent book for beginners

I picked this up because it was on sale and I like to have a variety of skill based books in my Silversmithing library. I don't do much stamping when making my jewelry but I did find a few helpful ideas and tips in here. The photos are excellent and the whole thing is very well written. A lot of the projects aren't to my taste but that isn't an indictment of the book - I still found enough inspiration here that I'm happy I picked it up. I would recommend it for someone beginning in metal work, the skills are fairly basic and there is no soldering or advanced techniques involved.
