My husband and I started watching this one year- and decided to make it our little tradition. Date night when the kiddo is in bed! It is very funny! Makes you realize that family really is important- and why family gathers on the holidays. It also opens your eyes to relationships- how in tune you think you are, until you are brought into different circumstances (ie, your spouse's family homes!)

My favourite part is when they attend church, and Vince Vaughn and Resse Witherspoon are asked to participate as Mary and Joseph. At first Vince's character is reluctant, but then he gets right into the role! LOL

Funny, very funny, but the depth stops there. I also find Reese Witherspoon very annoying in comedies.

When their plans for an exotic vacation fall apart, unmarried couple Brad (Vince Vaughn) and Kate (Reese Witherspoon) must spend Christmas Day trudging around to a quartet of family get-togethers. While Brad counts the hours till he can escape the onslaught of crazy relatives, Kate begins to wonder about her own choices and ponders whether her family members are so crazy after all.

Vince Vaughn will have you laughing throughout the movie. So many memorable scenes come to mind. A great ensemble cast that bring to life a modern version on how these four families celebrate Christmas.
