Tastes good

I joined the Four o'clock Club to get some tea samples. Today I tried their Truffle Mint tea. I like my tea strong so I steeped it for the full five minutes. Look at this beautiful dark colour. Nice and smooth chocolate flavour with a hint of mint! However, I'm not a mint person so this isn't my type of flavour. I only drink minty beverages if I'm feeling sick or have a cold.

This tea was very satisfying to drink and it tasted delicious. To get the full flavour, it does take more steeping time than other teas I've tried. It did smell like chocolate so I was expecting a sweet chocolaty taste, but it was more deep and spicy in flavour, possibly due to the licorice and chicory roots mixed with cacao. Nonetheless, it was still tasty. There was a hint of peppermint which made this tea a great drink to help digest with after a big meal. It also makes for a great dessert tea to enjoy on its own or with your favorite sweets.
