I have to start by saying I am a size 9.5 women's, I have wide feet, and I am a bit flat-footed.

This makes it VERY hard for me to find comfortable shoes. Let's just say...I HATE SHOE SHOPPING. *gasp*

However, these boots are quite comfortable. They are a mid wide heel, the leather is quite supple but looks tough, and they have just enough heel so that I don't need to wear orthotic inserts (which I have to do in running shoes or flat shoes). Also, unlike a lot of brands where the calf of the boot made for very large calved women, these ones actually fit my calves, without a bunch of gaping that happens most of the time. I wish the ankle was a little narrower, but I can't have everything.

I paid full price at $275 cad for these....but they are worth it because they are actual city walking boots.
