I spent years of my life looking for a facial cleanser that would do its job without drying out my skin (the result of which was that I would invariably turn into a grease ball a few hours later as my skin tried to make up for the lost moisture). I picked up a small bottle of the Fresh soy face cleanser at Sephora on a whim two years ago because it was the first product I'd seen that has soy as one of the main ingredients and I was intrigued. I've stuck with it ever since.

Oh, sure enough, it took me some time to tinker with how I use this product. But it has so, so many pros. It's VERY gentle and does not dry me out at all, and a little goes a long way. I found it particularly wonderful at removing stubborn eye makeup gently. Removing mascara with makeup wipes or harsher makeup remover usually resulted in me losing half my lashes, no matter how delicately I tried to swipe. Now, I just use a tiny bit of this face cleanser on my eyes every night and everything comes off with minimal effort and strain. It's also great for the skin, though I have noticed that my combination skin requires more regular exfoliation to really get rid of all the grime and particles. Just using the face cleanser would result in my skin feeling grubby after a few days, and I had to switch to an exfoliating face wash to get rid of buildup. I found a solution to this by starting to use the Soy Face Cleanser with a Korean Italy Towel (a little square exfoliating towelette) which exfoliates gently. I spread some of the cleanser onto my face and then scrub lightly with the towelette every day and get just the right amount of cleansing and exfoliation every time. The product is rather on the expensive side and smells a bit lettucy (most people like the smell, I'm not fond of it but it doesn't bother me), but I've found it to be worthwhile.

Smelled great, felt great, however - did not remove all foundation without really scrubbing which resulted in skin irritation and breakouts. Very disappointed.

WOW! I am so in love with Fresh's Soy Cleanser. It is so gentle and it works so, so well. It leaves my face feeling wonderful. This is worth every penny. I just recently switched to this and I will be sticking with this from now on. Great company, excellent products all around!

A very typical face wash for a higher end / non-drug store brand. The texture was very nice and cooling, and it does its job to clean my face like every other cleanser. Smells great and feels refreshing. Although I don't find it like a holy grail item to rave about !

I received a sample of this. It's a gel that you can use on the eyes and face. It works really well and smells of cucumber. It's very light in texture and works with my dry sensitive skin.

I received this as a Christmas gift and have been using ever since. It is so light in terms of texture and (cucumber) scent, it's great for daily use. It makes my skin feel clean.

The price tag will probably be the only reason I will not likely purchase again.

I was always a big fan of Fresh products - the soy face exfoliator is my favourite. I received the face cleanser as a gift and it is a blessing for dry, sensitive, wintery skin. The scent is fabulous - just mild cucumber - and isn't at all irritating. The Fresh products are generally on the pricier side so I was happy to receive as a gift - though I think they are well worth the price.

I received this with the purchase of my clarisonic. I really liked the smell and quality, although I probably would not purchase. Cleanser is on your face for a minute and there are cheaper options.

Love this product! I have been using this for over a year . It removes makeup, it is gentle and makes your skin feel very clean. Love how it suds up too. Smells good as well.

LOVE this cleanser. I have really sensitive skin and break out very easily if I use the wrong cleanser. This cleanser is MAGICAL; its so soft on my skin and never makes me break out. My go-to cleanser when another product makes me break out; I just use this for a few days and my face returns to its soft acne-free state.
