This is a super cute lip treatment with a slight shine and various tints. The moisturising capabilities aren't quite the best but it smells super nice and will work well for anyone with healthy full lips, of on top of a lip treatment that soothes out the lips. I have the Rosé version, which is perfect for me (tint wise) and it smells delicious (don't be fooled though, it tastes pretty awful...what? have you never gotten some in your mouth before-Yes you have, the average lipstick wearing woman eats 3.7 pounds of lipstick in her lifetime) but ANYWAYS, this is an overall good product which looks and smells very cute but is rather expensive-a cute gift for a friend.
These lip balms are pigmented, super smooth and hydrating but I don't think it's worth the price.
I was really skeptical when I first heard about Fresh lip balms. $30 for a lip balm... seriously?! (Btw, I live in Canada, so it's $26 the atrocious amount of tax) I was previously using Burt's Bees lip balms, in which costs me less than $5, so the thought of dishing out $30 for a lip balm, when I could use that $30 for something.. say a lipstick or two (or even 3 depending on the brand), was repulsive. I was able to get to try this though, when it was included in the Sephora's Superstar Favourites kit and I really like it. I wouldn't say I love it enough to buy a single full size one (0.15oz) at full price, but Sephora does bring out a trio kit that includes 3 balms that are 0.07 oz each that looks tempting. So the only single thing I hate about this product is the ridiculous price. However, I do love the packaging, the smell of it and how it lasts so long on the lips. It does moisturize my lips and makes them less chappy. So although I love the product, I obviously think it's not worth the price you have to pay for it.
I love how natural and free of harsh chemicals this formulation is. The color pay off is pretty good for a Chapstick. I would however not recommend this because of how expensive it is. You can find the same thing in the drugstore for less than half the price.
I received this from a friend who didn't like the bright cherry red of the colour that she had purchased. It really is quite expensive for what it is: a coloured lip balm. However, it does make a difference to my lips and it feels amazing when on. I also really enjoy the bright red.
The balm is not too thick, gloopy or sticky when on, just soft, slick and slightly shiny.
I recommend it if you have money to spend on it but know there are cheaper options.
Like many others, I received a duo from Sephora for my birthday. I absolutely love the texture and smell of these produts! The orginal, clear version is my favourite and it feels absolutely luxurious on the lips.
Unfortunately, the price makes it a little less appealing since I don't typically spend $25 for a lip balm. BUT if you want to splurge or get someone a nice gift, this could be a lovely option!
I love this lip treatment! Even though I think the price of $26 was a bit much, It is a nice indulgence. I bought the plum kind and it is very lush and long lasting. I did find that the lip colour itself got very soft so I put it in the freezer!!
I love the fresh sugar lip treatment with SPF. My favorite was the rose one as I found the others to be too dark for me. I love how soft my lips are and I use it on a daily basis. I highly recommend this product.
I highly recommend the Rose colour. It applies easily (although it can get mushy if left in a hot area) and adds a slight pink tint that looks great. I've tried a few other colours and found them too dark, but use the Rose daily. It leaves my lips soft, although I do use other (cheaper) products when I need intense mosturizing.
