A Cat's Massage
My cat has very long hair and sheds a lot. The Furminator deShedding Tool is a deshedding tool and is so easy to use. My cat enjoys getting brushed by the Furminator and always closes his eyes and stretches out. Brushing with the Furminator deShedding Tool does not hurt the cat. The Furminator deShedding Tool has an economic handle that is easy to use. The only downfall I have is the head of the brush is a bit small so after each brush I have to take the hair out of the Furminator. This could be because my cat is a long hair cat.
pet products
This does work well on most pets fur but do be careful if your long hair furry pals get mats in their fur as it can be very painful to them as you pull it threw their fur, we found that a good Bush first sometimes helps, but not always .
Surprising!
You would think how can they justify that price for a simple brush? It's where you would be wrong. Yes, this is more expensive which stoped me at first, but it worths every penny. It brushes the cat undercoat and you will take off another cat size in hair. It helped tremendously my poor cat with vomiting hairballs.
Amazing Product
Works amazing! Managed to find one on sale for $7.99 at a surplus store. Completely changed my cats fur. I can’t believe the amount of hair that came off of him in such a short brush. Recommend to everyone!
A necessity for every groomer and owner!
My cat normally won't let a brush anywhere near him, so I knew it was a risk to spend money on the Furminator... but it actually turns out that he loves it! He lays down on his side and enjoys every minute of the brushing. I honestly didn't think that the brush would work this well, but I was pleasantly surprised! Now there isn't (as much) hair on all my furniture!
He also had a bad case of dandruff prior to being brushed by the Furminator, but after a few sessions, it has mostly cleared up. His coat also looks much shinier.
If you are wondering whether or not to buy this product, I strongly recommend that you do!
My cat doesnt have short hair but I didn't see one for long hair i bought it anyway hoping it would help my dog doesn't shed and I just got my cat less then 6 months ago so I've never had to deal with hair all over everything it took a few weeks to get him used to it but I am amazed at how much hair can be removed its a great product I would brush him a few times a week prior to getting this brush and it can't compare my house is almost free of cat hair everywhere
Love this product. The Furminator Deshedding Tool We have 2 cats and need this for all the fur flying frustration we have. Its a miracle we couldn't live without it
This is a pricey pet brush but oh my gosh does it do it's job well and then some. I only have experience using this on cats, so I can't speak for dogs or other animals (it is marketed for cats). If you have a fluffy cat, you are going to think your furbaby is a completely new kitty! You are lucky if you can find them under the large pile of shedding hair this will remove.
Even if you have a short to medium haired cat, this will clean up their hair quite well. My cat never has problems with hairballs, because we regularly brush him with one of these. At first (when he was a younger kitten), he didn't like the brush all that much, but a few months later he basically started demanding we use it on him. I think he enjoys the scratching it provides in addition to the grooming. It's super easy to clean as well - just pull the hair out.
This does come with instructions - it should be common knowledge though. Don't aggressively brush your animal. Use long strokes without a log of pressure so you don't aggravate them and leave hair everywhere on their body.
