I found this at Dollarama and decided to give it a try. I have a front loading washer, and it gets stinky from time to time. I throw in a packet of this Gain washing machine cleaner and turn the machine on HOT and on the STEAM cycle. At the end, my washing machine is shiny and smells AMAZING. I love this stuff! I went back and stocked up.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Gain washing machine cleaner at my local dollar store, a 6 pack for $3. I like the Tide washer cleaner but I find it way too expensive to use very often and they only come in 3 packs. After using the Gain version I didn't notice a huge difference in cleanliness in my washer but it smelled great after!
