I've read the whole series many times and just can't get enough of all the characters ,plots and twists of each of the books. If you haven't read any of these books I highly recommend that you do.

I started this series in high school and got several of my friends hooked. His books are so well written, you get invested in the characters from page one on. Not only is his world so easy to picture but it's so easy to lose days in it. I love going back and re-reading the entire series whenever I get the chance.

Worth reading for sure, I love these books they are very well out together and I cant put them down. I also love the show.

These books were really good! The books were so long though (over 1000 pages per book), felt like you were reading the same book forever!

My husband is so invested in this series. He's read all the books and enjoys tuning in every week to see what happens next. He likes the historical reference and stretch of the imagination used to develop the personalities of these intriguing characters.

The character are all well develop and the settings are amazing. Story line is really catching too.
My only complain is that the series is not finish!

George R.R. Martin is a gem!! Highly recommend! Prepare yourself for sleepless nights because you wont be able to put that book down!!!

Absolutely amazing series - only the 2nd best to Harry Potter. The characters are amazing and the story line blows you away. George RR needs to finish this series!! I have to know what happens

books are always better then movies

George R.R.Martin is a modern day Tolken. Amazing how he was able to describe and place you into a world straight from his imagination. His writing style is simple yet beautifully descriptive. He has an amazing way of making you feel you truly know the characters and you feel their sorrows and their joys as the series continues. Worth every penny and more for the hours of reading and the visions you will have of being a character among its pages. Will leave you with a million fantastic quotes only other Song of Ice and Fire fans will know as well....................Winter is coming! Mark my words much as Lord of the Rings is talked about this book will be just as much of a classic.
