FAVOURITE
This is a go-to for me. I always have this in my freezer. The flavour is amazing if you cook it right (crispy) it's super easy to cook, quick, flavourful, and just a tad pricey. Not that I am comparing it to meat products but I always like the price cheaper.
Yummy vegan mandarin crispy chick’n
These are a very yummy substitute to chicken and it tastes great over rice. But, I wouldn’t it often because it’s highly processed vegan junk food. No animals were harmed to make these.
These are so great! I usually add a bunch of vegetables and make an "asian style stirfry". I love the flavor profile these little nuggets have. The whole family seems to love them too
Delicious on its own or served with brown rice and a side salad! A very light take on a popular dish. Far feeer calories with no loss in flavour. The texture of this chicken substitute is right on but I'm disappointed that it's not gluten free (don't see a reason for this as Chick'n Scallopini is a gluten free chicken substitute as well). This could be easily resolved by substituting rice flour for wheat flour. The included sauce is very tasty, with the right amount of orange flavour and not overpoweringly sweet! Love this quick fix for after a long day of classes or work! I always bake my meals, never microwave; I do this for both health and flavour reasons. Place your meat alternative evenly on a baking tray and heat for 10-15 minutes while you warm up your sauce package with hot water in the empty Gardein bag (may need to switch out water more than once to sufficiently heat it). Then, for an additional 10 minutes of cooking, coat your chick'n in the warmed up sauce and heat it up some more. Enjoy!
As a vegan living in a non-vegan family, it's hard to find meat alternatives that taste good and could replace the meat in my meal. These are probably the best chicken alternative I have ever tasted. I eat these plain and toss them on salads or I mix it with the sauce and pretty much add it to anything.
This product is so good you won't even believe it! It does not taste like tofu or fake chicken, it is delicious, easy to make, really a good alternative for the "vegan that likes meat" (kind of)
I absolutely love Gardein products. Not only to they use GMO free soy but their products contain so many nutrients and vitamins. My omni husband will eat this product so I cook it often being that I am a vegetarian and it is difficult to find products that my husband and I can both consume.
I first tried this chick'n at Disney World (they no longer have it) and loved it so I was excited to find it at a local grocery store. I really like it - the texture of the chick'n and the sauce is a nice change from BBQ sauce or other things I'd usually add to fake chicken. It is a little sweet but good for someone with a sweet tooth like me.
I have these for lunch at least twice a week - fry them up in some cooking oil or even sesame oil, toss with the sauce (I switch up the saucesj or serve on a salad and you're good to go. Taste practically like the real thing, but far, far healthier! I lucked out and found a huge bag at Costco and bought 3! Great, easy food.
I am absolutely in love with these! Easy to fry up in a pan till crispy on both sides, toss in the sauce and serve! They don't get soggy after adding the sauce like most do! Amazing taste and texture! Just great!
