Thanksgiving On The Go!

For all those vegan and vegetarian shift workers out there this Gardein product is perfect! Savoury stuffed turkey is, of course, meatless and delicious. The protein itself is great; however, I would recommend skipping the gravy for it (maybe try on mashed potatoes or with roasted carrots instead). To pair with this meal in a rush, I simply cut an apple into small cubes, seasoned with thyme + cinnamon + cloves + black peppercorn, added a squeeze of honey, and lemon juice and heated in the microwave for 1min. The perfect pairing to truly bring thanksgiving to my table in a pinch.

It comes with two small balls of stuffed turkey and two packets of gravy. Even my non-vegan husband prefers this to a real turkey. I always make more gravy and stuffing and add a veggie and potato side to make it a holiday dinner.

My favourite vegan “meat”

I first bought these “roasts” last Thanksgiving when I was looking for a vegan substitute to turkey. And I was not disappointed. These taste so good and they almost taste like real turkey. Two roasts and two packets of vegan gravy come in one package. We have bought these products often and we will buy them again and again. Yummy! I highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a vegan option.
