I have had better BB creams

I received this Garnier BB cream for review from ChickAdvisor at the Cinq a Sept event. I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately, this was not a favorite. My biggest complaint is my face was SHINY after I applied it! I like a matte finish. So I found I was applying more product to cut down the shine! "Anti-shine" is even listed as one of the effects of this BB cream!!?? Sorry, I didn't find this to be the case!

Another issue I have is no SPF protection!? So along with this product that leaves my skin shiny I have to apply a heavy sun screen!

It does seem to even skin tone and moisturize. But I have tried better BB creams. I will not be purchasing this one again.

Too Dark for Fair Skin

The color of the primer that I was given is really dark for my light skin. The texture of the primer was very pleasant though and I didn't feel like I was wearing anything, as I do with other primers. It also doesn't have a scent and it doesn't feel like it's wearing as the day goes on. The rest of my makeup was a breeze to put on. It was also really easy to remove with normal makeup wipes. I didn't have to scrub at all!

A nice alternative to regular foundation

This Garnier 5in1 Miracle Skin Perfector gave me good coverage and, when applying with my finger tips, it went on easily and blended well. It is great when you are on the go and want effortless coverage or if you don't want to put on a full face of make up this gives a natural cover all on its own. This skin perfector feels very light on my skin, like I don't have anything on it. I used light/medium and found that is was a good colour for my skin tone.

A staple

I love this bb cream. I used it when it was first released and it is still just as wonderful. It gives you a decent amount of coverage, it is not cakey and it blends into the skin quite nicely.

Lovely BB cream with tint

This BB cream has a light coverage tint and a soft texture. I wore it to work and had some compliments on my makeup that day. I like a light coverage for work days because it sweats off anyway.

HOORAY for re-discoveries!!

Ok I can’t think of a better Summer face product. I am loving my bb cream and I can’t believe it has been at least 5 years since my last tube. This is a thick and pigmented cream face base that blends in flawlessly with a bit of a summer tan. I usually tan from a tube, not the sun. I think light-medium would be a touch too dark in the winter, but it’s perfect for right now. Unlike with foundation, this product is emollient and never clings to my dry areas. It works wonderfully throughout the day and doesn’t fall of my face. I like to set it with powder for a long lasting finish, the Laura Mercier mineral powder is my go-to right now because it adds a touch of coverage and luminosity. Fabulous

Not my colour

I got this in my grab bag at the Cinq a Sept event. I wish we would have been able to see the colours on our skin before selecting it. The colour was too light for me, maybe it will be good in the winter. It does go on nicely, it's light on the skin and doesn't have a scent. It would definitely save time getting ready in the morning. #ChickAdvisorCinq

Oldy but a goodie

I’ve tried this bb cream back in the day when it first came out and I’ve always liked it. I do tend to buy it every now and then cause for a drugstore brand it’s pretty good

Not for me.

Although this product seemed to have works for a lot of people I know, for my skin tone it did not blend well. I’m not a dark shade but the medium was too light for me. I also hav scars on my face that I felt didn’t cover properly, I feel like this product is good for those with clear skin

A must have

This is one of those products everyone must keep in their makeup bag. I mostly only wear tinted moisturizer or BB creams and the Garnier BB cream is one of my favorites. It feels light on the skin, and gives me a flawless and smooth look in no time. Easy to apply, great price and lasts a long time.
